Okay I give the fight 120-108 to Wlad, Sultan IMO did nothing but one thing that annoyed me was Wlad not throwing his right hand. He was scared all night to get countered and when he did throw it Sultan was wobbled by it and he could have easily knocked Sultan out in there but he was just too cautious IMO. BTW his jab was amazing throughout.

    Anybody agree with me ??

klitschko wanted to do a 1-2 jab straight right

he threw the jab and when it landed flush sultan would move down and to klitschkos right, and raise his left hand, he would be in another spot by the time klitschko was ready to throw the follow-up right and klitschko didnt want to risk missing and getting countered, sultan is capable of landing very hard shots against tall opponent5s, and the type of lunging shot he would have thrown to try to counter a missed straight right is the type of punch that would have a good chance of taking klitschko off balance

people are acting like sultan was no threat, like he couldnt take a right hand from klitschko and like he wouldnt be able to put a dangerous counter together, klitschko fought like he usually does, and sultans stance lead to klitschko not having a clear path to land the right after he pulled back the jab

He stated in a post fight interview that his right left him off balance after throwing in, which was why he only wanted to use it when he was pretty sure it would land.

    edit:

Afterwards the victorious Ukrainian said he didn't want to risk throwing his right more and missing.
"I had to make sure I would land them," said Klitschko. "If I would miss I would lose the balance and it's hard to get back.
"I thought I was going to knock this guy out - it wasn't easy. I know you're not satisfied, but I have to keep the belts and knock everybody else out."

It was a matter of styles...Wladimir's right cross has lots of power behind it and had he missed it he would have been off balance and Sultan would have countered him and knocked him down.

Had Wladimir thrown a left hook more often he might have found it easier to throw the right cross.

Even the Klitschko fans are disappointed of HOW Wladimir won but they are happy THAT he won.

Wlad played it smart with a dangerous fighter. Sultan arose to the level needed to pull off a win but Wlad being very cautious never gave him the opening he needed and at the same time Sultan was also being cautious not to get ko'd by the right .

I respect it like hell when a fan of a fighter can say: "My fighter looked like shit last night." Unfortunately, it doesn't happen very often.

Mistake to say that Wlad was scared. Maybe 'cautious' but not scared. His trainer and Vitali were telling him to throw the right more but he didn't, because it seemed to me he knows that if Sultan had caught him on the chin clean, it would of done damage.

He went in, owned the fight, and won. That's what counts.

Well Leftie Wlad was gunshy for a number of reasons , 1. he realised he could win easily with the JAB.
    2. He had huge advantages in reach and size.
    3. After 3 KO defeats he will always be wary of getting hit on the chin.

But id have liked to see him try for the KO , i think Vitali would have stopped SuLTAN AS HE DOESNT MIND A TEAR UP
