    Default What the F**K

Here it comes.I was just reading SI and of course you gotta read the Who's hot and Who's not list right.Well guess who's on top as NOT.You guessed it Juan Manual Marquez.Sure he didn't get the desicion, but too many from what I gather and seen it was a very contraversial desicion. So for Sports Illustrated to put him on the not list means most of those writer's really don't know alot about boxing. Some writer's exact words ."he got flattenend in the third round-but no gain in this rematch against Manny Pacquiao".It left Marquez "pouting" .Which to me means basically this guy or gal didn't watch the fight just from what he or she gathered from their companies highlight reel. Anonymous person announce who you are and I will ask.If he was "flattened" usually in the boxing world is KTFO ,then why was he up at the count of 4.Why was Manny hurt at the end of the second round, why were his arms flailing in a comical fashion in the twelfth I'm sorry it had nothing to do with Marquez's pinpoint counterpunches. Also ask Manny we he dosen't want a rematch this time around and why the hell did he seem so punch-drunk in the interview with Merchant. He seem to be just fine in all of prefight hype.

So to ESPN WHAT THE F**K and know What the F**K your talking about next time please.

    It's just SI.
I mean I don't think much about them as Boxing Mag. same applied to ESPN Mag. for me... I'll read it here and there and look at the pic. but as far as taking anything they say as something to go bye.

    Write to them.
I always find that getting angry is ridiculous if you're not going to do anything about it.

SI's boxing coverage is garbage... They cover boxing as much as water polo... Some seem to forget that this sport was bigger then all the sports combined in the US at one time.

It is a farce to say that at any time in that fight Marquez was "flattened"... Both men were hurt. It was a war.

I want to know who hires their boxing writers... They never know what the hell they're talkig about.

I love whenever Delahoya fights they jump all over his nuts like Shanna Moakler... He's all over the mag.

Hellllooooooo... There are about 50 other guys that would be great ambasadors for the sport...

Juan Diaz for one: A young, polite, fulltime student who just so happened to have won three world titles in his spare time... Great roll model

Miguel Cotto: I don't think you can find a nicer guy... Very polite aswell... Happens to be a world champion.

Joe Calzaghe: Average Joe who has just happened apon a tiny thing called the undisputed supper middleweight championship for the past 10 yrs.

Kelly Pavlik: Everyday working guy from the runt belt... Looks like a guy you'd pull up a stool next to in a bar... Oh yeah and he's the Middleweight world champ.

Shane Mosley: Has that star power quality and the skill to match.

John Duddy: Young up and coming, good looking, hard working, crowd pleasing kid.

Ricky Hatton: He is ACTUALLY a guy you might pull a stool up to in a bar. One of the best roll models out there.

Manny Pac: He is getting more well known as time goes on and would be a great ambasador for the sport. He exhudes star power.

Juan Manuel Marquez: One of the great fighters of our time who lives right in Cali. If people in the general public don't know his name... They friggin should.

Isreal Vasquez: He has given us many memorable fights. The little guys don't get enough recognition.

I don't know whats wrong with the general media where they shun boxing as they do unless friggin dela-just-here-to-irritate-me-hoya is fighting... Its just beyondmy realm of thinking...

    End Rant...

I agree 100 % if it's not about De La Hoya it's Tyson and not them two it's Ali and how great he was.Espn needs some real boxing writer's instead of the shit they throw at like this article.
