Hes a very dear freind of mine we went out for a few drinks in the Lakes this Weekend and stayed with them. When we got back, I asked him to get the old Vega out and give us a tune. To say he dont play much know, its not bad eh..

That was great scrap, but I'm sure with your connections you could have reunited him with Ebo Elder and they could have replayed that great 'Dueling Banjo's' moment from Deliverance.

I bet that's the first tune any self respecting banjo player learns.

I'd love to be able to play that, it's so cool, in a weird hillybilly inbred way.

But you can't listen to it and not want to tap your feet.

You have to get a video of him playing that, it's an awesome song.

Out of interest, There are two type of Banjo. Bluegrass five string and Rythem four string, they seem to get more out of the four string Bilbo. Dont ask me how. I think you can only play Bluegrass on Bluegrass its how its set up Peabody and the others played four. Harry in the 60s was the lead Banjo in the Fathers Moustache in the States, New York Boston and New Orleans.
