Default Stop The Boxing Bias **READ**

I'm noticing more and more how bias some of you guys are. I'm Puertorican but I have many favorites fighters who I like to watch from all over the world.

You guys act like the only guys who can get credit have to be americans and that's bull. You have to give credit where it's due no matter where the fighter is from.

It's incredible hearing what some of you guys say and how some guys even after they finally come to the states and do what you said they never could, you still try to downplay them.

Here's a list of some of my personal favorites:

Miguel Cotto - Skill, Heart and now Great All Around Boxing Skills

Joe Calzaghe - Great Boxing Skill, Is not afraid to Mix It Up, Speed and Is the ultimate at making adjustments mid fight

Abner Mares - It's still early but how you not love this guys skill speed and balance

Antonio Margarito - Slow but has Unbelievable Heart, Conditioning and Determination

Shane Mosley - On top of the fact he's a great fighter, he never took the easy route ad always chased the glory and not the money (True Legend)

Winky Wright - Here's a guy who never had an easy time finding an opponent and still can't get guys to fight him

Carlos Quintana - Watching that guy fight is one of the most artistic things you will ever see in the ring with his movement and great reflexes and pure and natural boxing talent and instincts

Marquez Bros - Great balance and boxing skill coupled with great determination

Manny Pac - Not the most skillful but his unrivaled determination, power and heart, not to mention willingness to fight anyone, makes him an undeniable great

Israel Vasquez - WOW! Awesome guy who can adjust very well and has the power to make his adjustments count

Kelly Pavlik - Slow guy that doesn't look like much but has the heart of a lion but somehow outpressures the pressure fighters, outboxes the better boxers with his style that up this point, has not been denied

I guess I can go on for a bit more but I just wanted to make a point.

I also like fighters from different places.

    My faves are

Jhonny Gonzalez (Mexico) - if he could put everything together, he would be almost unstoppable, his two recent losses were not exactly blowouts, moving up to 122 he knocked down Israel Vazquez early twice before he gassed out, not making excuses here, but Gonzalez showed some definate skill. His other loss against Penalosa, he just got caught, it happens before that liver shot he was throwing a shutout on my card.

Glen Johnson (Jamaica) - The true definition of what a boxer should be IMO he fights anyone in their own backyard, fears noone and is feared by many. He shows even at his late age he can still mix it up with anyone.

Hozumi Hasegawa (Japan) - He's got it all power, speed, accuracy, footwork amazing fighter

Floyd Mayweather Jr. (USA) - Amazing talent, I base my opinion of him only on his work ethic and ring mastery

    Those are my favorites.
