Default Question that has been bugging me today with HBO

OK on the HBO version of Joe Vs Hopkins the HBO team said when he got knocked down in the 1st round they said Eubank had Joe down in there fight....

and when Joe was interviewed at the end the guy interviewing mentioned when Eubank had Joe and the canvas and Joe didnt correct him.

I do not remember Joe getting knocked down in that fight and the only KD i remember was Joe knocking Eubank down in the first round.

can someone confirm i aint losing my mind here as its been bugging me all day

You're not losing your mind.. (although probably already have running this nut house )

Calzaghe got him over in the first. That's it.

Think Joe was being too polite to correct him.

I think Joe has only ever been knocked down by one other opponent hasn't he in his career? It was a flash knockdown like the one against Bernard.

He was dropped by Kabery Salem as well. That was an interesting fight. Salem was another tough, physical rough fighter like Hopkins and caught him whilst he was coming in to attack Salem who was against the ropes if I remember correctly.

Those are the 3 times he has ever been down, other than that he has a great chin.

This is why I feel that Roy Jones has a chance against Joe...Do you remember that sneaky uppercut he hit Hanshaw with to put him down? The punch was delivered while Roy was fighting off the ropes. Was a cracking uppercut which I have to believe would probably have taken Joe out too. Without comparing Hanshaw to Calzaghe (would be stupid) but Joe does rush in sometimes with his hands all over the place leaving himself defenceless. I think Roy would love him for that

at times HoBO say inaccurate shyt like that, and they go along like they know everything boxing. I actually believe they edit shyt out sometimes when they replay a fight.
