Why is the word bitch censored?

It's not even censored, it's actually removed from the post. Why? I tried to put a line from an Ezra Pound poem in my sig, and it won't work because the word bitch is apparently intolerable.

THANK YOU!!! I thought there was supposed to be an optional filter, but in this case it removes it altogether.

I believe the word bastard is also censored, because it was in a picture that
Bilbo posted, and although at first it appeared, the censoring caused the picture not to come up.

But it's still a great website, even if the word "Clubber" had to be censored.

Back on my profile I had "Forum" Worst Of All Time, and it censored out the word 'forum'.

Also (as I've mentioned in the distant past), the word 'coarse' is also censored. I didn't know that was a cussword.
