Default One of the worst beatins I've seen in my life. Spoilers!

First I have always supported Pacman even though other people have been saying that he is past his prime, but the fact is he has changed his style, he is far more of a boxer now than just a one dimensional fighter. He BEAT Marquez, he outclassed Barrera whom he beat nearly every round(A Barrera that seemed almost even with Marquez the fight before). He beat to very solid mexican fighters Larios and Solis. And he also made Morrales, one of the toughest warriors of our generation, basically say fuck this, this guy is too good in their third fight.

Anyways back to the point. I feel really bad for Diaz, he was absolutely battered around. I can't believe he lasted 9 rounds I though his corner was going to stop it way sooner. I felt this was a lot worse than Mayweather-Gatti, Gomez-Gatti, Cotto-Gomez because Pacquaio for one hits ridiculously hard, and for two he was destroying Diaz everywhere, in the face, in the body, even in his heart. I hope Diaz is ok. I was really surprised how easily Pacman handled the strength of a guy who looks built like a big light welterweight.

Yea that was brutal to watch and cruel to enjoy. By the sixth round I was like they need to stop this, Diaz is going to get permenant damages. Stewart said it best right when Diaz went down, "this didn't have to get to this".

I was glad to see Diaz in the interview though, he was joking around and accepted his defeat. He got a lot of heart and can sustain lots of damages, he has nothing to be ashame of. Like he said himself, "atleast I fought a great fighter like pacquiao".

"Manny was too fucking fast. I could deal with the power but not his speed. I got tricked by his speed. I gave it my all. His speed is what it sealed it for me. His speed was fucking uncontrollable.

The cut didn't bother me. But I thought he had a knife. It's like he was hitting me with a blade. I thought Freddie Roach was in there hitting me too. What can I say? I lost today, I'll win tomorrow. To go like that with a guy like Manny Pacquiao, I think I'm doing pretty good."

I have to say that was one of the most entertaining one sided beat downs I've seen.

Pacman really did a number on Diaz. He deserves the #1 spot on the p4p list.

The KO was sick, the kind of one punch KO Arthur Abraham would be proud of

I was feeling sorry for Diaz after the 4th round. I was just hoping he would make it to the final bell without having his eye become a factor; but then that sick left hand touched him and he looked pitiful. I personally was very impressed at that one sided beating from Pac.

I'm glad Manny could finally show his right hook to the world, people don't realize how hard it is to use your right hook as a southpaw especially against guys like JMM, Morrales, Barrera who all throw great straight punches. Finally Pacquaio got a southpaw and his right hook was amazing in every aspect countering, to the body, leaping in. But also I think speed was a big factor for Manny being able to use it so well. I noticed Manny was so much faster he was able to try and put mustard on his punches as opposed to just trying to throw them quickly like against Marquez or Barrera, but last night he wasn't able to use his left hand all that much, and his right hand really shone through.

That's an awesome quote.... The guy has a great sense of humour.. Especially after being beaten so badly.. To be able to look at it like that, shows he hasn't lost anything that is truely important....

I think the bold part though needs to be added to the sig of one of the Pac fans on here.. Considering he fights at in the mid 140's, I think he takes some decent speed up to 140 honestly... No one is ever going to be as fast going up 3 or 4 weight classes...
But the way he boxes now and has progressed his style, his speed is all the more deadly... He can pick of brutally fast power punches and not put himself in danger of getting battered and brawled like in some of his earlier fights...
His style progession alone makes me believe he can match Hatton on any night of the year, let alone what he's shown of himself over the last 2 years...

Sure Diaz is not a top champion... But Pac style wise made him look like a club fighter with a LOT of heart and toughness.. It's a toss up how you pick between Pac and Hatton..
But I love it if we could just agree that there is no reason why it should be considered a ridiculous fight by any measure at this stage..
