A lot better with HBO commentry but yeah, I was really happy for Big George that night. I think Lampley was shouting "IT HAPPENS" several times. Might have to dig the fight out later I cant find the HBO commentary on youtube.

    I agree.
Hearing Lampey go to tears as he says:

    "It happened, it happened"

Makes that ending even more chilling for me.

Foreman did better than the "one punch KO" that the headlines hyped vs. Moorer Imo.He landed a few solid one-twos in setting up the finale late that had rough Impact......great sports moment period!

Honestly, that was a weak ass bunch of heavyweights too.

Foremans punch doesnt look that hard until you see it from the overhead camera.

The 90s were probolly the second best decade for HW after the 70s.

If you look at the history of the division there is rarely much strenght in depth amoungst the big boys.

I absolutely agree. I am just saying that although everyone completely disses the current heavyweights, it seems they see the past through rose colored glasses. That was the point.

Lennox, Holyfield, Tyson, Bowe, Foreman, Moorer, Golota, Briggs were all fighting at a high level around this time.... Your point doesn't do much for me, if we had just one of those guys around now they would be the unified champ and the HW division wouldn't be such a joke.
