    Default Boxers Diets

Does anyone have any links to (or wishes to tell me their) diets and can gave me a template of an example.

    e.g. on Monday eat ..........
    Â Â Â Â on Tuesday eat .......... etc

My situation is currently that I am 6ft 1", 175lbs. I want to lose some body fat and get down to 168lbs or even 160lbs if I can. I want to combine a good diet that will keep me strong but help lose weight, with a good training regime including CV and weight training........ to sum up I wanna lose about 10lbs of fat and tone right up and get fitter.

    Any ideas

    Thanks!

Try to stay away from crap if you can and make sure you drink loads of water, I mean loads. Just eat good meat (chicken, lean beef) with good carbs (whole potatoes instead of fries, pasta or rice better choices though, maybe porridge for breakfast) and as much fruit&veg as you like, (if you drink milk it may be better to go for semi-skimmed or skimmed rather than full milk).

Do that and you'll be fine as far as diet is concerned, there's nothing more to it really. I've probably told you no more than you already know.

As for losing the weight, man I don't know too many Middleweight's who are 6ft1.. but anyway, just work your ass off - literally! Man, you don't know how to lose weight? The key is Hard Work it's simple.

I assume your a boxer, right? If so, remember that you need to focus on BOXING more than anything else

I'm not yet a boxer but am looking to start it. I'm not sure whether to just get fit or actually consider fighting.

I've already lost 9lbs in the last 6weeks so I think I might struggle to lose further weight.

Thanks for that last post though, its helped me alot, although I already do the majority of the things you said.

Your weight is fine for your weight, don't worry about your weight or you'll just end up burning your self out...

worry about ur body fat, 160 is extremley light for your height, I'm an inch shorter and weigh about 180... you'd be all skin and bone and shorter openents would have a strength advantage on you

    My Typical Day:

Breakfast: Fruit or Cereal (not frosted or chocolate)

Lunch: Boiled Chicken (boiled chicken is good as it has less fat but with the same protein) with Vegetables

    Dinner: Beef with New Potatoes

    Dessert: Fruit
