Now this actually will shape up to be quite entertaining... Manfredo ALWAYS puts on a big show when he fights at the Dunk a la Pemberton and Spina...
Bika will come forward throwing bombs... This will be a very fan friendly fight. So how does it go?![]()

Manfredo by decision although I could very easily see Bika winning the fight.

Im not sure what will happen i like both guys i will have to think about it then vote apart from getting slapped to death by Calzaghe and getting stopped in the 3rd even though he was slipping the punches Manfredo has never looked like getting stopped really. This will be a good fight better than some title fights this year in fact Bika likes a war Manfredo is not scared of a war this could be a fight of the year.

Thing about Peter are those stamina issues... When he fought Lacy he just fell in to lazy infighting... He boxed great in the first round and a half...
When he's at home in front of his fans and comfortable expect fightworks... I hate watching him fight outside new england cuz something just switches off(not saying he would have had a shot against Joe anyway).
Manfredo will box and he, contrary to what many think, has a bit of pop. It will be entertaining though a tough one to call due to the style matchup.

Right ive gone for Manfredo points win but wouldn't be shocked to see a Bika KO win he is one of if not the pysically strongest super middleweights.

Well although it's a possibility I just don't see Bika catching and hurting Manfredo... The Lacy "knockdown" is the only time he's been down in his career and he's never been hurt. You are correct in Bika being VERY strong and if Manfredo gets caught he'll know he got hit![]()

The scorpion will prevail unless he doesn't get robbed as it's Manfredo's backyard.

I like Manfredo but I think it will be Bika by decision.

I think Manfredo can pull this out... either way it should be a good scrap!

I'm actually surprised so many people are giving Manfredo a decent shot.
I have no doubt that Manfredo is the more skilled fighter, but he can also be a lazy fighter and he has some very bad habits. He let himself get outworked in the Lacy fight and that one was there for that taking. I'm trying to figure how Peter can overcome the physical size/strength disadvantage for 12 rounds. He should be able to counter Bika, and he should be able to box him from the outside. Will he? Over and over, he shows that tendency to lay inside and pick spots while getting outworked, and at SMW, he doesn't do much damage with those inside shots. He can get away with it against Banks or McCrary, but If he does this with Bika he'll probably cut, probably get outworked, and generally not look good, even if he ends up landing the cleaner shots. Maybe that will get him a win in Providence, but I'm not sure it will, even at home, because Bika made even Calzaghe look bad.
I'll be rooting for Peter, but my brain tells me Bika is going to be a little too much for him. If he wins, it's because he comes in the best condition of his career and he has the legs to box and move for 12.
