... then I go off to the Bar School to complete the bar. Amazing how I got this far, only through God Almighty. I never would have thought studying law would have been so difficult. They really did beat my head in for this LLB. But, I completed and ready to move on.
I went through a lot to get this far. Eviction during my first year, multiple deaths of family members during the second and third year, and the ultimate death of my Mother (all of these things come with their elongated periods of discomfort and pain). All at the same time battling with work and working with a supervisor for half of it who seemed as if he didn't want me to get a LLB AND arrogant lecturers who wanted to make sure you KNEW they had law degrees and you don't. (I'm not sure how it is in the larger developed countries where you guys are, but in the West Indies, they don't make it easy for you and they want to beat you into submission where they want you to kiss their ass for something you are working towards and are paying for. Is it like that in the US, UK and Europe?
Also, not sure why my former supervisor was so pissed with me wanting to complete a law degree, considering I was still doing the work on time? I wasn't in his way at all.
Anyway, it is all behind now. I'm not graduating with a distinction or top honours, but I am graduating. A lot of other people have quit and would have quit if they went through half of the things I endured to get this far.
Praise God right now. Everything that has breath, sing praises to the Lord!!!
