Can Winky will a tittle at SMW???

I dont know, age and inactivity gets everyfighter and Wink wont be an exception.. I would like to see him in with Kessler and see how he deals with Mikkels size and ability

yeh a agree, it would be a great fight with kessler.. Winky really needs to get active in the next couple of years.. Could end his career on a real high...

the tWink doesn't have the right tools to win at super middle, atleast against elite fighters (no punching power)... Kessler and Taylor would be too much for him, (of course, i'm inviting all kinds of outbursts about the taylor fight from a couple of years ago- bottom line, the tWink's best punch is his headbutt, and without it the fight would not have been a draw.) But, I feel I need to be specific and completely answer the question: can the tWink win "a" title at SMW? The answer is probably- he can probably beat Denis Inkin whom I've never heard of.

I've never seen Froch or Pascal fight, so I don't know how he would fair against either of them, but I think guys like Andrade and Bute would also be too powerful for him. Dunno, that's just my conjecture.

His most intriguing potential fight would be Pavlik at 160. Hell, a Paul Williams fight at 160 would be a damn good fight too. I would love for him to shake up the middleweight division and fight those guys next year.

never been a problem with guys that couldn't hurt him as easily. his skill level MAY NOT be enough to deal with the higher power level of the super middle's...

i would argue that his best fights are at middle weight.

somebody like Andrade would walk right through his punches.

Winky Wright does have more power than your than your giving him credit for. Its just he doesn't put any real effort or sit down on his punches, because then he would be would neglecting his defense/taking chances ETC.

calzaghe has had no power for a long time now, kessler was a big hitter but you never saw him walking thou punches... It doesnt always work like that..

Winky must have terrible management or lack of drive.Why in the world sit on the shelf for so long.Inactivity has eroded many a fighter.I just don't see Winky looking stellar at SMW with its increasing depth,He was never fleet of foot,sits on the inside way to much as of late.Shame...very top flight fighter,just a bit over looked Imo.

Probably not.. I like winky but SMW has some very strong fighters i would like to see if winky and handle some of those guys. Maybe hs should still try his luck at 160.

I really don't know anymore...
Honestly with all this time off, you just never know how it has affected.

It def. sucks that he went into obscurity there for a while because at his best he was something special to see.

I really dont think Winky would hold any real fears for any of the top super mids, he aint got the frame size or power to deal with the big guys..

I mean for example could anyone really see him givin Kessler a good argument, or even Froch, these kinda guys are just too big & powerfull for Winky along with the other top ranked sm's...
