What would you do if you had a couple of mates who had turned into complete fuckwits? They use to just drink, now they do drugs as well. Have heard some things theyve been saying about me around town (i dont do drugs...just drink ) . Basically theyve been going around telling everyone that im a fuckwit whos up himself and thinks where ever I am is better then where ever they are. Something like that anyway. I can handle that, people can say shit but not everyone believes them. BUT i come home this arv and find a couple of comments on my wall on Facebook basically trying to make me out to be a complete idiot.

Now Snakey is basically a take no shit kind of guy, I usually confront this shit but because I use to be good friends with these guys i find it hard to decide what to do. I have this built up urge to tell them to say shit to my face and explain it or dont say it at all. But i fear that would just make it worse, reaction number two says....punch them in the face lol These guys are the softest people imaginable. A punch in the arm makes them wince.

So basically how do I turn this shit back on them without being immature like they are being. I dont want to act heaps agressive and then cop a bad reputation coz of that and I dont want this shit to keep going because...I know they wont say it to my face.

ok bud, I have age and experience on you, but what's important is having confidence in yourself. The best thing to do is rise above the bullshit and move on. You may lose a few so called friends because of it, in the short run, but in the long run you will come out ahead.

Yeah what i'd do is just ignore them... Whatever fun they are having getting into drugs, a part of them knows they are heading down the wrong path and are feeling bad about it.. So they're gonna hang onto making comments about you to make them feel better.... The fact that they are pointing out you think you're in a better place than them, is simply an outwards projection of the exact thing that they are feeling... As long as they feel inferiour, they are always going to be trying to bring you down as long as you're associated with them.. The only thing i'd suggest, and you probably don't do this anyway, is don't be critical of them having drugs.. Just be like, yeah they can go ahead and do that... Technically it doesn't change who they are.. It might add to their ego in some way that they are "cooler" because they're taking drugs, but as long as you don't feed into that side of things by even acknowledging their drug use, they'll probably end up being cool with you... Just if you can manage to treat them the same as usual and let them be dickheads if they want, they'll either not bother with you because they aren't getting a rise out of ya, or they'll be cool and see you as a friend who is of more value than others that just want to make them have more drugs...

If I get a chance tonight, i'll upload this e-book by Eckhart Tolle.. It talks about people's ego's, and I love it because just about anything anyone does that is stupid, it is explained in this book... I deal with people with all sorts of big ego's all day, and this book has made me understand them so much better and deal with them a tonne better as well...

It sounds like those guys are just a little envious of you and trying to do a bit of attention seeking at the same time... Obviously they are getting something out of drugs that they aren't getting from regular life, which is a part of every human's exploration, but at some point, they just becoming assholes and you'll probably have to tell them to back the fuck off... But let them have their 5 minutes of fame on your webpage for now..

AGREE. i had so many friends in high school calling me everyday to chill or watever. now since we graduated i dont see most of them and only a few went off to college i heard a few were in jail, got some girl pregnant, or they got on some serious drugs. its kinda sad sometimes when i think about because those were people i was seeing everyday and grew up with, now i just think "damn".

Dont worry guys, just me venting lol I came home from work and saw some shit on my facebook and got angry. I have a short fuse for people who say shit but will never say it to your face. Never have made a comment to them about doing drugs, their life...they do what they want. My biggest issue is that I hear these things from other people and not themselves. If ive got a problem with someone, i say it straight out...i dont spread it around and hope it gets to them.

But yeah as I said, i just got real angry, real quick so im all good now. Just going to ignore them, they will just start more shit if i give a reaction. Its the most simple thing to do, couldnt see it while i was angry but can now. Rep to you all

Ring em up or go around to their houses seperatley this talking behind backs stuff and comments on face book stuff is for imature people.
Tell em how it is Snakey tell em how you feel about each of them and let em know you'll be there for them when and if they hit the wall.
You have to know ; Drugs are fun but not on your own. They are going down together (How far is the real question).

Snakey just ignore their comments and get on with life as normal as possible.I dont know how old these nobs are,but their do sound really childish.Focus on your life and dont let them drag you down.The question is....................are their really your mates?

Theyre on the pills, couldnt tell ya what kind but ive noticed a massive difference between who they were before they started using and who they are now. I dont classify them as friends anymore, but it still clouds my judgement. The fact that ive done nothing but be a good friend to these guys and then get stabbed in the back...just shits me. My attitude is...if you dont want to be associated with me, then dont be but dont go around saying shit. Because in reality, if i was to get quite angry with them and hit one of them, they wouldnt have much they could do back because as i mentioned they are pretty soft kind of guys. They dont work, they just sit around, they never did sports, get scared easily. If i ever decide hitting them is the right option which i wont, it would be quite easy.
