    Default Prehistoric Shark? (vid)

I was just looking at octopuses on youtube and I found this one of a prehistoric shark that was found.. I hadn't seen this before, but most likely someone has posted this vid here before.... Do you personally believe there are a lot of these types of creatures still lurking out there that we havn't seen??
I downloaded some Monster Quest last night and I would love for some really good reputable camera work catch a big weird wonderful creature..

But this shark is pretty freaky..

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mneDh...eature=relatedBut THEN, the stupid morons in an attempt to "make sure it stayed alive", captured it and tried to put it in a tank at a marine park thing, and it died... DUH... I'm no biologist and even I know that a hardy Great White can't be kept in captivity.. Biologists have yet to permanently keep one in captivity as they don't feed properly and die for whatever reason. Stress, lack of food..
But such is human nature to see something nice, attempt to "take" it as their own, and taint or destroy it with their hand..

I believe the Biggest great White was caught was in the Mediterranian, but they dont talk about it to much. It would affect Tourism. Theres 19 people a year go missing of shore most years of Italy . It was 31ft

damn 31ft is huge. if they found a little shark that made it all these years then maybe a Megladon is still out there that would be awesome.

A great white will make you stay out of the water. A Megalodon will make you stay off the water.

p.s. kingfrnk, I have the novel, it is called "The Trench" it is written by Steve Alten. It's actually pretty good.

ok, right you are, he does have a previous novel called MEG. I imagine the movie will be based on both.

Sharks scare the shit out of me. I actually have a hard time swimming in the ocean beacuse I've heard a lot of "professionals" say if people knew how many sharks were in the water they swim in, they wouldn't be in there.

Plus, TIME Magazine had an article back in the day that said New Jersey's shore is increasingly becoming shark infested.

They say sharks attack humans because they think we're seals. Those same people say sharks are the most misunderstood feared animal. F*CK THAT! I don't care if they're misunderstood, they bite humans and that is what matters.

One can only hope that the increased level of awareness of this creature, caused by this story, will aide in its protection.
