Default Pac-dela Hoya, will it be A historical fight or a monumental flop?

If pac pulls a big upset here, no doubt this fight will probably be considered as one of the historical fights in the annals of boxing. But on the other hand, if it turns out to be a great mismatch as most expect, the fight will be a monumental flop, a fight better to be forgotten. Which will it be. We're about to find out, but I'm not that optimistic about it for obvious reasons...

...just wanted to stir up some actiiiiiiiiiions here, the waitin's boring the heck out of me...

Once in awhile, get outside in fresh air, take a deep breath & with a deep sigh, let out all the things that's bottled up inside you & be free, & you'll get a glimpse of nirvana.

All I can say is, it will be a much much better fight than the Hoya-PBF "Stinko de Mayo" snoozer...

    De La Hoya-Pacquiao won't be
    Dancing with the Stars!

Oscar De La Hoya's last megafight against Floyd Mayweather Jr., set box office and PPV records, but the fight itself failed to live up to the hype. Golden Boy CEO Richard Schaefer and Top Rank CEO Bob Arum both addressed that issue earlier this week and promised that Saturday's Oscar De La Hoya-Manny Pacquiao PPV 'Dream Match' will be a thriller. "Generally everybody is in agreement that this fight is not going to be a Dancing with the Stars," stated Schaefer. "This is going to be a fight. Both guys want to fight. They come to fight. And it's going to be an exciting fight. And I think that in that regard, this fight here this coming Saturday between De La Hoya and Pacquiao clearly has a big plus, a big leg up compared to the Mayweather fight." Arum added, "I wouldn't be surprised if this fight is talked about in boxing history as one of the great, great classics in boxing the way people talk about the Ali/Frazier third fight, the Hagler/Hearns fight, the Leonard/Hagler fight, as one of the true, true classic matches in boxing. I mean, it can fail, but it will be a very, very exciting fight. And I really believe because it's a big fight and because it'll be so well contested that it will be one of the great, great fights in boxing history."

I don't think people give Mayweather the credit he deserves for that fight, for a lot of it he moved a lot less than he could have, and he stood there and traded with Oscar, the problem was that Oscar couldn't land, and mayweather couldn't hurt him.

It's going to be neither, unless Pac wins, which won't happen. It won't set PPV records. It probably won't go down as a historically great fight. If Oscar takes a dive to set up Pacman/Mayweather, he'll be stepping up a historic fight?

Anybody think that Oscar has worked a side deal to get Goldenboy a piece of a Mayweather/Pac fight and that he'll take a dive to make it happen?

Don't worry, buddy, no matter who sez what your man won there fair-n-square. It might not have been a good offensive night for Floyd but he nevertheless slithered away from most power shots of Oscar with his usual slick moves, just like how a snake moves smoothly through branches. It was clearly a defensive masterpiece...

I don't trust Oscar much either but to say he'll take a dive just to set up a Floyd-pac fight... naw, I don't think so. He won't dare risk ruining his boxing reputation forever just to set up 1 fight, imo.
