Who's next for Hatton? After the failed Pacquiao negotiation.
Please vote who do you think Hatton will fight next? Just mention the name of a boxer if he's not on the list of choices.

If the winner of Diaz and Marquez comes through with not alot of damage i think Hatton will fight one of them in June.
Who would I like to see him fight? Probably Cotto or JMM.. I think Hatton needs to take a risk, like he did against Floyd, at this stage of his career if he wants to achieve p4p status.
Who will he probably fight? Probably DLH... it would draw more money and attract a bigger crowd.. although it wouldn't do much for his rep.
I hope it will be the Marquez-Diaz winner. I won't pay a nickel if he makes a fight with De La Hoya. I might watch a Mayweather rematch just for the Floyd Sr. factor, and the slight chance that Mayweather might be rusty and Hatton pulls the upset (but I doubt that would happen).
I really dont think DLH. They had a fair bit of Hatton ringside chat (when DLH fought Pacquiao) and Hatton actually looked upset and sad at how spent DLH looked. Said things like its upsetting to see a legend in that sort of fight and how he should probably call it a day, things like that and they looked honest sentiments. Plus from DLH's perspective, everyone and his dog will be telling him to hang up his gloves as well.
Mayweather - too many things going against this to suggest it would happen. Not least the fact floyds made no indication he wants to come out of retirement and if he did he`d be quite desperate for a tune up contest before jumping straight into the deep end.
Marquez or diaz -the winner is a potential future hatton opponent, but what with the date of their fight and the fact hatton is still penciled in for may 2nd id highly doubt due to the logistics of this that will happen.
Oscar De La Hoya - looked a completely impossibility after his mauling to pac, but as the contenders fall to the wasteside ODLH may just be tempted for one last final fling at glory.
edwin valero - no, no and urgh.....no
Margarito or mosley - Suspect marg-cotto II is already in the pipeworks for this summer should tony get through this and 1 more defeat for mosley should just put him into retirement. Wont happen
Cotto - for the reasons above it just doesnt seem very likely.
If you ask me it`ll be either de la hoya or someone completely out of the blue who can fill a slot like zab judah!!
one dangerous horrible bloke
I don't think Hatton will leave 140 and although it wouldn't be a huge money I see him taking on the winner of Bradley and Holt should that fight go ahead!
From a purely financial standpoint Hatton should fight Oscar . Lots of money against a very faded fighter
He could fight Kendall Holt for a fraction of the money and have a much tougher fight on his hands.
JMM would be interesting . Would be funny to see them two have a massive fight with Pac on the outside looking in .
For me I'd like to see Hatton fight JMM. I've been excited just hypothesizing about his fight.
If he gets a fight with De La Hoya that would seriously just turn me off completely. De La Hoya has only one fight and one fight only that I would like to see and that is JCC Jr. He doesn't deserve to keep fighting these elite fighters.
I wouldn't mind seeing Hatton get in there against Cotto at a catchweight.
Call me stupid. But I'ld love him to fight Timothy Bradley next. Especially if Bradley beats Holt.
So far, the winner of Juan Diaz - JMM fight is the leading boxer voted here as next fight for Hatton... It's a good match-up but the downside is Hatton has to wait until after February 28 to start negotiation and also this is not really a mega event fight...
On the other thread, PBF is the leading boxer voted here as next fight for Pacquaio... It's a mega event fight that needs no further explanation... A fight that no one can criticize... Only question is, does PBF really wants to fight this year?
So from this poll results alone, it seems that it's Hatton who loses more in the failed negotiation with Pacquiao...
