Knocked Out in Sparring

Anyone know of elite/former elite/future elite fighters getting KO'd in sparring? I heard something about Tyson once, but that may have just been a knock down.

Im pretty sure I heard Mcclellan had real rough sparring leading up to the Benn fight, not sure if he was KO'D though

I kinda remember that. They were talking about all of Tyson's recent woes. His break up with Robin Givens, the car crash and I specifically remember Tyson being loaded into the ambulance.

Chris Eubank sparked Herol Graham (after being stood on his head for a few days). Howard Eastman sparked Steve Collins.

Before the first Tyson fight Holyfield freely admitted his sparring partners were beating him up.

I got confirmation from Andre Dirrell's trainer/grandfather that he was handing Chad Dawson's hat to him, but Dirrell was a little more... diplomatic about it. I think we all remember what Floyd Mayweather Sr. had to say about that.

I saw the footage on youtube. A perfectly timed punch put Oscar on his ass. It was a good sparring session though. Oscar wasnt hurt bad or anything but he did go down.

Yeah, that one. I remember Oscar sitting flat on his rear. I'll look it up on YouTube tonight. It was a young skinny Oscar back in those days when, believe it or not, I didn't like him and just wanted to see him lose.

Nice to know after seeing what happened to a very old Ali when they fought for real! No disrespect to Holmes but he would have got his backside handed to him against a prime Ali and it somewhat annoys me when I hear Holmes bragging about beating Ali even to this day.
