I think it would put him right among them at the top, although for me Pryor will always be the best. But you could make an argument for Ricky being the best.

I'd have him scraping the top 10 because he has spent his whole career there, but only if he knocks out Pac and has no more losses to decent opposition.

Somewhere just outside the top 10.

Off the top of my head I can't see Ricky higher then these guys.

    Cervantes
    Tszyu
    Locche
    Perkins
    Pryor

All I can think of is a certain Hatton fan who thinks DLH ( or was it PBF?) should fight a real fucking welterweight, I wanna know what he thinks.

Well... Let us take a look... Since the almighty Ring Magazine currently rates him as #9 and he beat the current #1 and the Current #1 beat the Current #2 then I'd say unless you dropped the Current #1 & #2 he'd have to be rated #1.

    Current Ring Top 10
Rank Fighter * Record The Ring weight class(es) Titles held at the moment
1 Manny Pacquiao 48-3-2 (36 KO) Welterweight / Lightweight WBC Lightweight Champion, WBC Emeritus Champion
2 Juan Manuel Márquez 49-4-1 (36 KO) Lightweight The Ring Lightweight Champion
3 Joe Calzaghe 46-0 (32 KO) Light heavyweight Retired as of 05/02/2009
4 Bernard Hopkins 49-5-1-1 (32 KO) Light heavyweight WBC Emeritus Champion, WBO Super Champion
5 Israel Vázquez 43-4 (31 KO) Junior featherweight WBC Emeritus Champion The Ring Junior Featherweight Champion
6 Shane Mosley 46-5-0-1 (39 KO) Welterweight WBA Welterweight Champion ("Undisputed")
7 Rafael Márquez 37-5 (33 KO) Junior featherweight
8 Iván Calderón 32-0 (6 KO) Junior flyweight WBO Junior Flyweight Champion, WBO Super Champion The Ring Junior Flyweight Champion
9 Ricky Hatton 45-1 (32 KO) Junior welterweight IBO Light Welterweight Champion The Ring Junior Welterweight Champion
10 Celestino Caballero 31-2 (22 KO) Junior featherweight WBA and IBF Junior Featherweight Champion ("Undisputed")

the win would do nothing really to prove he's one of the best jr. welters ever, for the same reason Oscar was being thrashed for fighting Pacquiao, Hatton is the bigger fighter, and he's fighting a man who is really his best IMO at 130/135

Is this in any order Mick? Because for me I think Pryor and then Tszyu are the greatest ever at that weight.
