does anybody know anything about the upcoming mike tyson movie? the only thing i know so far is that it will star jamie foxx as mike. if anyone knows anything more id really appreciate it as ive been excited about this film ever since i heard it was being made.

Aye,i remember making a thread based on the new Tyson film about 9 months ago and your bang on that Jamie Fox is supposed to play Iron Mike.I've been searching the youtube for trailers ever since i heard it was getting made but all i keep coming across is the old version of his films from back in the 90s.I heard also their making a film based on Micky Ward too but i cant find anything about that film either!!!

i think they are doing a documentry type film with mike himself, i heard about that movie hype but i found a link that said summat about a doc, i hope they do make a film, they have just finished a film called THE PHANTOME PUNCH with ving rhames as Sonny Liston it looks really good, the 90's tyson film was great Michael Jie White is mike lol he played the part well. ill keep an eye out for you bruv then get back to ya.

I didn't know they were making a new Tyson movie if so I can't wait to check it out. Jamie Fox is gonna have to put on some serious weight for that movie if he wants to look like Mike.

The movie about Mickey Ward is suppose to be called The Fighter I think. Mark Walberg is suppose to play him. I've heard some good stuff about that film.
The only reason I know the name is because one of my Favorite Authors Craig Davidson wrote a book called The Fighter (if you have never read it I would definitely tell you to check it out I absolutely loved that book.)
and I frequent his website and he said people were contacting him asking him if the movie that was coming out with Mark Walhberg in it called The Fighter was based off his book,Its not based off his book.
