I seen an hour documentary thing before on Page and his accident. He was really messed up, in a wheel chair and almost paralyzed.
His wife is right when she says he's in a better place now.
He'll probably be remembered best for dropping Mike Tyson in sparring before his fight with Buster Douglas.

"You knocked him down...now how bout you try knockin me down ?"
So you know I edited the last part of your 1st statement.
The man just passed, theres no need to be calling him names.
Also I think he'll be remembered by much more then just the guy who dropped Tyson during sparring.
He was an outstanding amateur with several chips.
As a pro he fought top fighters early on.
He fought everyone and anyone win, lose or draw he was a fighter who would tango with anyone.
R.i.p
Terrible news, Greg was a tough man who would fight anyone.
My best to his family
R.I.P champ. You went to places we can only dream of.![]()
R.I.P Greg
RIP, he will be missed. He arguably never reached his potential in the ring, but he certainly did outside of it.
Psalm 144: Blessed be the LORD my Rock, who trains my hands for war, and my fingers for battle
Tragic way to go.
God bless.
Very sad, RIP Greg
My thoughts are with his family at this sad time
The Best There Is, The Best There Was, The Best There Ever Will Be
Thanks for the memories Champ.
thoughts,prayers with the family.RIP Mr.Greg Page
As Joe Louis said when he heard Rocky Marciano had been killed in the 'plane crash:
"Count ten over him ......... he'll get up"
Rest in peace, Greg. Another champ gone.
If God wanted us to be vegetarians, why are animals made of meat ?
