I was just about to start a EPL Transfer Thread!

I saw Barry signed with Man Shitty...good for him, the Reds didn't need him anyway...I wish they would save up for a dominant striker to pair with Torres. Tevez is being looked at hard by Man Shitty as well.

Ballack, Essien, and Lampard + Kaka would be one of the better midfields in the league.

liverpool should go for David Villa, he`ll cost £30 million but can you imagine a strike partnership of torres-villa.

If you ask me the scousers are much closer to man utd than chelsea are. Too many broken clogs at stamford bridge and the endless change of managers cant be good. Liverpool just need 3-4 quality world class signings this summer and id have them down to win the title in 2010.

Shame man city are gonna blow everyone out of the water this summer though and raise the entire value of the market. Premier league clubs can handle this but the other leagues what with a financial reccession on could do without this big time!!

I think Barry is a 'Steal' at £12m for Citeh, but I stilldon't think they'll break top 6 next season

Villa is great on his own, Torres is great on his own but when they played together for Spain ONLY Villa was the one scoring. We do need another striker and we do need to raise money too.

    sure was

didnt villa turn down 15million from liverpool last summer??

To be fair to the city owners apart from the stupid money they spent on robinho and 14million they gave us for bellamy who only plays a dozen or so games a season theyve actually done some good business.

Be very surprised if they arent over taking arsenal for that 4th spot next season!!

    You need:

    A striker (that compliments Torres)
    2 Full Backs
A replacement for Alonso (who is very likely to leave)

+ a few good squad players.

Short of that I don't think Liverpool will win the Prem next season.

Agreed on the striker but ....

We've got enough fullbacks: Carragher, Agger, Skrtel, Arbeloa, Aurelio, Degen, Dossena...if we could add Heinze or someone of his calibre I would agree to add one.

Alonso could leave but I think the likely man left out is Yossi Benayoun. He's played very well but he hasn't earned a starting spot and if he's sold to anyone then he's going to bring in some money and more than likely not hurt us if we play against him.
