How do you define "best weight division"? Do you mean regarding competition within that class OR by where the big-money fights featuring marketable famous fighters are?

						Welter again.
Mayweather, Marquez, Pacquiao all reside there. Bradley, Alexander, Malignaggi, Guerrero, Berto, Maidana, Ortiz & Lopez are all up there. Factor in Keith Thurman and Adrien Broner and I'd say in terms of housing the best fighters in the world this is the weightclass.
Super-Bantam has already lost Mares, and if Donaire beats Rigondeux what is left? Promotional issues will stop the best fights from being made there.

Welterweight is the best division and has the biggest fighters p4p– Manny, Floyd, JMM.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.

Welter seems to be a popular division, yes excellent fighters but I was thinking
the smaller weight division deserves a mention.!

Lol whats the point? That is more competitive then today's welter division. Only difference that many of those names and the rest toiling in the top 14 are not known. They are not known because they get little coverage. The west for the most part or generally follows 126 north.

I disagree, I feel those divisions are very weak outside of those named
147 however you have Floyd, Guerrero, Bradley, Pac, Broner, Alexander, Brook, Thurman, Maidana, Malignaggi, then throw in the likes of Berto, Lopez, Abregu, Vargas, Ortiz. Cano, Karass, Aydin, Zaveck, Mike Jones, Senchenko are all solid, just seems there's more depth there at the moment

With the wink and nod attitude with divisions and 'contracted weights vs actual weight' I'm not sure there is an accurate gauge these days. But 154 is a major transition point and seems to really be a hot spot on interest.
