Was this the venue where the mother came into the ring with a slipper and attacked the opponent who was beating her son in the ring?

Iron Mike Tyson today donned a Wolves shirt ahead of his first visit to Wolverhampton The former heavyweight champion of the world, and one of the most controversial figures in boxing history, is appearing at the Civic Hall on November 4.
Promoters have promised the father-of-seven will talk about everything from his three world titles and becoming the youngest champion in history, to his chequered past outside the ring, including a three-year jail term for rape, and life after his retirement in 2005.

Damn, I missed that quality night of boxing!

Wolverhampton is my home town. It was weird going into a shop the other day and seeing Mike Tyson looking back at me from the front of my local newspaper. Wearing a Wolves shirt no less, the team I've supported all my life...

Damn someone should put them in touch with Trailer Park Boxing so we could have an America vs UK showdown exlusive to youtube HD!

I'm sure Trainer Monkey will be interested in do the matchmaking and entering the best from his own stable, and then once all of his fighters are eliminated in the prelim rounds he could team up with Kid Thunder again and caoch him via text message between rounds from the stands.
