New Cotto Training/Sparring/Interview Video's

Here are a couple new video's from Cotto's training camp. He's just doing some warming up and some light sparring, as well as a few quick words.

From everything I have been reading, he didn't let himself eat too much, or really get out of shape after the Clottey fight, and it shows.

I'm happy to see him giving 100% in his preparation for his fight against Pac. My only concern, and it's a legitimate concern, is with him starting earlier than he normally does, I hope he doesn't peak too soon. And no, I'm not trying to set up an early excuse, I have faith in my man, and have to trust that he knows what he is doing, but it doesn't mean that I can't worry.

Okay, it wouldn't be me, if I didn't say this......

Damn, I love watching him train!! As soon as I get home tonight, I have to put my training sigi back on. God, seeing him with that sweat soaked white t-shirt on... mmmmm, mmmmm, mmmmmmmm now that's my idea of a wet t-shirt contest.

And dear lord, my tongue is going to have to go into overdrive, yes, he has gotten another tattoo. He has now extended his body tattoo to the upper part of his chest, shoulder and upper arm.

I hope for his sake he gets better sparring partners and doesn't get used to that leisurely pace or guys wading in him. Maybe pacquiao comes in unprepared or unfocused and allows Cotto to use that style, but if Pac comes in prepared... I see him giving Cotto fits. Cottos best shot at this point in time is to try to punch with pacquaio and hope the size difference and weight takes care of the rest.

Of course he's going to have better sparring. He's not going to have full blown sparring at this time, the fight is still over 2 months away. He's just warming up.

Also, he never let's video of him doing full, heavy sparring get out before a fight, he doesn't want to give anything away. Any video footage he lets out, is usually just basic stuff, nothing hardcore.

Pacquaio should be focusing on this legacy-cementing fight. Roach is concerned with Pac's schedule: the film shooting, drinking and the celebrity life Pac is having right now. Hope Pac does not come unprepared for Cotto.

Saw Roach on a local TV news (Philippines) that he is quite pissed for the lack of communication between Him and Manny's camp at this time. He is quite concerned Manny haven't started training yet.

Yeah, Manny should at least show some respect on Roach and communicate with him.
