Made redundant ......AGAIN

After less than two years at my current company my team has been made redundant. For me it's the second time, first was at the end of last year when the jobs were moved interstate, now the same thing has happened and our jobs are again being moved after me getting an internal move.

I FEEL FOR YOU I REALLY DO.Its same story over here in the uk mate.More people and firms are losing their positon due to this fucked up recession.Keep yeah chin up mate.Im in the same boat as you.It aint easy living without work and money,hard as fook really.Im scraping by the skin of my teeth!

Thanks for the messages of support, it just hits hard right now as I am in finance and that's what has everything screwed at the moment.Might be the excuse i have needed to move to Brisbane for some winter sunshine though!

Lol - I actually got fired back in 2005 because they had been logging my interent activity and I had been on Saddos for about 6 hours a day

..... and I thought life at the first world is heaven....

So many of my countrymen would risk their lives just to go to the UK and find odd jobs there. I wonder what jobs are waiting for them in your place if your citizens are being fired because of redundant positions.

This recession is making me grateful that I didn't go abroad for work.

Some rough times going on all over the world, and I don't think it's going to get any better any time soon despite what the IMF is telling us all to think. We are apparently recovering but people are still losing jobs everywhere left, right and centre. What a mess.

Yep change is great; sometimes its real hard just as it begins to form, as we try to hold onto the past for security reasons, but everything eventually works out for our betterment and the fastest possible route is through change.
