    Default Hattons comeback?

Just wondered what he is actually thinking, is this a comback to basically say farewell to his loyal fans, or....

Is this because he honestly believes he can be the P4P no.1??

    Whats your opinions?

There's a massive fight with JMM available if he wants it. I think the only thing that'll stop him agreeing to it next year is fear of being sparked or beaten up in front of his fans. I think he knows he's finished at the top level but the question is, can he turn the money down?

he would get eaten by JMM.. I think that would be his worst kind of opponent!

With Ricky's voracious appetite it may be Ricky who eats JMM

I'd for one like to see him fight JMM; could be a bruiser of a fight, though I'd fully expect JMM to spark Hatton out. Being in the UK Ricky might just have that fire in him to put on one last great hoorah, and a ref who will let him fight his fight so to speak, so it could be fun for sure. I'd still like to see Ricky fight Diaz or Katsidisif not JMM.

If it comes down to eating Hatton wins. I'm just watching the Macklin fight on the thingy now and he's at ringside, he's fatter than ever. He's got to be 100 pounds over his fighting weight. He looks like a five foot six heavyweight.

I'd also love to see him fight JMM. I'd have to favor Marquez to win, but I think there's decent chance that Hatton could beat Marquez. If Diaz was able to bother and hurt Marquez, then certain Hatton could. However, I don't know if his chin would hold up as long as Diaz' did.

He is probably a year away from comming back by that time everything can change. Cotto could be p4p best and provide Ricky another opportunity to lose to the best fighter out there.

There are some great fights out there for him to take right now, JMM or Campbell would be my choices. Both at 140. I don't think he has a shot in hell at ever becoming p4p #1, but he doesn't need to as long as he's making exciting fights he will be rewarding quite handsomely.

Agreed, there are still very good fights out there for Hatton but he needs to make up his mind quick. He also needs to forget about this P4P rubbish too. Just make good fights, there's no need to get all worked up about a hypothetical load of nonsense like the P4P listings. Just try and be the best in your division and leave it at that.

Diaz almost KO'd Marquez. Hatton would do a number on Marquez. Hatton is bigger and stronger than Diaz. I think Hatton should take this fight. Marquez has difficulty with opponents that don't give him room to time their punches.

Diaz was beating Marquez. But Diaz didn't continue his crowding style and left spaces between them for Marquez to time the punches. If Diaz continued to crowd Marquez and not give him any room, he would have won by a narrow margin.

Hatton would beat the aging and overweight Marquez. Juan does not have the power and size to fight at 140 as evident in the fight against Floyd.

Hattons wins and finishes Marquez's career.

I don't think Diaz could have possibly thrown anymore punches at Marquez than he did, JMM is just that good, that he could punch inbetween the onslaught.

At the very least another year

hatton has so many irons in the fire at the moment what with his new promotion getting up and running and alleged personal problems.

Rickys already clearly said though his day to day life is still in and around the sport actually getting back in the ring isnt even being considered until 2010 when he`ll sit down with his family and discuss the pros and cons.

He`ll be back. No way does he want his final memory to be getting laid out by pacquiao. It wont however be until sometime in september/october 2010 at the very earliest!!
    one dangerous horrible bloke
