Anyone watched this on Netflix. Wow. Had me gripped from the start and I did it all in two sittings on same day.

Guess the Americans are more familiar with the story of these boys but I wasn’t.

Never been so angry when watching something like this for a long time. Get it watched ASAP.

Started watching the first episode and had to go out but looked really good, good hip hop soundtrack too.

(SPOILER ALERT)I saw it, very well done I see it was a Oprah Winfrey production I remember reading she signed a contract with Netflix to make content. I hope some of the way the cops and prosecutors handled themselves was over dramatized but the bottom line is the kids ended up doing time when they shouldn’t have. Did you notice they threw trump in the mix? I’m glad the dudes were exonerated and got a big cash payment. If cops and prosecutors conspire to frame innocent people id like to see them charged. I think it’s happened in a few cases.

Those confessions were for sure coerced

those kids were beating people up in the park

it was common for a group to get together and cause a ruckus but there were rules

Nice recommendation. They do these things so well these days, I didn't even give much thought to Pacey from Dawson's Creek as a lawyer. The Trump connection was fascinating, he paid hundreds of thousands for the New York Times front page piece, bascially put a "hit" on them.

However, they portrayed the kids as "butter wouldn't melt" even though they were regularly robbing, mugging and beating people (to near death) in the park. I'm a cynical cunt, but they ended up carving up $45 million and were basically saved for a few years from living with shit parents (evil single mums, deadbeat dads).

Every cloud and all.

I found the trump thing to be a bit of a dig. It was national news at the time and the police were putting out the info making these kids look guilty. If you asked 9 out of 10 Americans at the time everyone would have been calling for the death penalty. They just stuck the trump tidbits in for obvious reasons. It was a nice little drive by hit
