Quite suprised Moore recovered for the knockdown he looked out but came back, I thought Moore fought a little reckless tonight and it was a bIit of a role reversal to the Macklin fight with Rhodes playing the Moore role and Moore fighting the Macklin fight, Moore just didnt pace it well and wasted to much energy and got ktfo!!!

Im happy to be proven wrong. I thought that would be an easy fight for Moore but Rhodes was anything but washed up. Infact he was better than he used to be in the "spice boy" era.

I thought Moore stopped his momentum with that low blow but it seemed to spur Rhodes on and he took control. That right hook was a finisher and Im surprised Moore got up and punched back but Rhodes again had the last say and stopped Moore in style

Hope he does get a title shot now cuz he desrves it. 13 years after winning the British title he comes back to KO the Euro champ in that fashion . Great fight and anyone who hasnt seen it should check it out.

Pretty much what I expected. Never bought into Moore being a good fighter. Exciting? Yes. Good. Nah. His chin was always going to be his downfall.

I always thought Moore would get destroyed if he fought Martinez, but he fought stupidly in the 7th round. He showed a lot of heart to get up, seemed to get himself back into it & then for no apparent reason stuck his chin out to get taken.

I thought Rhodes was shit, tbh I still think it, but he showed heart after the Anthony Small debacle. He did well to take Moore's shots still. I personally feel that Moore lost this by fighting recklessly & as if he's got a chin like Librado Andrade, rather than Rhodes winning because he's a better fighter. Still Rhodes is with Hayemaker so at least if he gets a title shot it will be on TV over here

Excellent fight, just watched it then, filled with lots of drama. The last round should be one of the top rounds of the year

    same here

rhodes must of been way down on the scorecards, i only gave him the 1st round. Showed a hell of a lot of guts though to do what he did to moore in the 7th.

Another clear example of how one punch can change a fight entirely!

just hate the way they advertise the undercard fight then only end up showing 6 of the scheduled 12rounds. Its hardly like they were running long considering the main event ended in 7!

I thought Rhodes would get stopped the way he was standing and mixing it with Moore early. However he was not that affected by Mo-ores punches and pressure the longer the fight went on. Moore probably has had too much wars, because he seem to tire and fade very quickly. Credit to Rhodes for hanging on in there.

I don't know abouth that I thought after the 4th round the writing looked on the wall for Jamie Moore, he just looked to have nothing left.

Never really thought he that good to be honest, just a decent domestic fighter on a par with John Thaxton.

I think generally most of our domestic fighters are pretty mediocre.

Kell Brook and Nathan Cleverly have real potential, there are no other future world champions out there in the immediate future for us though.

Too early to say about the Olympians of course.

I know what you mean. Rhodes seem to take the 5th comfortably and I thought Moore got tagged way too much. He seemed too intent to impose his style. Rhodes chin at 11st was pretty phenomenal. I was impressed with how he just kept his calm and took over.

As for our domestic fighters, I agree with your two picks. I feel Brook is nailed on for superstardom though.
