Default Outrage in Canada....Judges...Hang your heads in shame

Note: What happened in Canada last nite is all what is wrong with boxing, the judges who scored this fight should never ever score a fight again. I just hope the powers above will reverse this and award the fight to FUNEKA

I had it pretty much the same way you did. Guzman got busted up something rotten from the third onwards. Frequently down the stretch he looked like a broken man. How anybody on earth could have scored it a draw is beyond me. A draw is simply preposterous.

Funeka won that fight, no questions asked. Those judges need their licenses revoked. The disgraceful lowlives!

NOt really, it is rare that we have referee problems over there and it is not more frequent than the state or anywhere else. That was a bad decision, sur,e but has nothing to do like an home cook decision as both guys weren't form here and have no ties wit Quebec.

I am beginning to think so, myself. Remeber that Randall Baily fight where he got screwed as well. Once a pattern begins, it no longer is an anomaly.

Hey I'm from Canada and I agree. There has been some bad judging and officiating in Quebec. Canada has some good fighters right now and have drawn the attention of the likes of HBO and Showtime. They don't want to risk losing that spotlight. They better get it fixed soon.

You think Dawson is willing to risk coming to Canada to fight Pascul for the WBC title now? Probably not. So instead of the fight being in front of 18,000 fans they fight some place in Florida in front of 4000.

I don't think the Bailey-Ngoudjo fight was a robbery. It was a clsoe fight that could have gone either way. Lets also remember that it was Texas that scored the first Chris John- Rocky Juarez fight a draw, which most preople had John winning by a large margin as well. If you want to go back in history a bit as well I seem to recall yet another BS draw, this time for Chavez when he got out boxed by SweatPea. Texas status reputation still proceeds them.

I don't think that it would affect him as the bad decision for Guzman wasn't a local thing, it's not like if Guzman was french Canadian or something. Plus, PAscal has to get ride of the Shark for a second time before getting Dawson and that is far from being done yet

You try to diss Texas what about Vegas Nev & Ca Some of the three blind mice decisions in Vegas were little short of scandalous.
Plus The CA commission was banned from holding Amateur boxing tournaments because of the corruption

As long as there has been boxing there has been bad decisions. Maybe we should go back to the No Decision days of 100 years ago. Fights are only won by KO's!!! That would eliminate a far bit of problems.
