Big game Sunday, you need a big performance, sqaud has been utter shit this season.

Now i know me and you dont agree on Robbie Keane but lets go back a few months when Keane was there ok he wasnt playing much but you were top of the league, lets forward 10 months and your on the verge of going out of the CL and your currently mid table with 4 defeats. Rafa has sold three strikers Bellamy,Crouch and Keane and has never replaced them Ngog is utter shite Kuyt couldnt score in a brothel. Not looking good mate I think a CL place at best for you this season.

From are point of view im so happy we have played average all season apart from 2/3 games and we have had the best start to a season in 11 years and are top of the league. HAPPY DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In truth apart from the cl win in 05 Rafa has been shit, like i have said before you blew the best chance you will and did have in years to win the league last year, Liverpool have bought so much shite over rafa's reign it's quite scary.

Rafa is a big tinkerer, he can't ever just go with what works for the entire season. Beyond that he can't seem to plan around missing a player or plan around giving someone like Gerrard a rest.

Simple strategy when we played Sunderland minus Gerrard and Torres, Rafa decided to use a totally new formation we had never used this season....I would have just used the same old 4-4-2 we've always used and just replaced Gerrard with Benayoun who has actually played up to snuff this season and replaced Torres with Voronin....sure nobody likes Voronin but he can control the ball and he gets scoring chances and even if HE doesn't put them away a chance is better than nothing.

This truly is a lost season, it's very disappointing and they will need to add talent in heaps next transfer period. Had Johnson and Benayoun not performed I'm not so sure we wouldn't be a bottom of the table side

...if we finish top 4 this season I'd call it a success. We've had injury issues all season and to lose Alonso and Arbeloa and have to replace them successfully was a tough task. Rafa still shouldn't tinker as much as he has though.

Torres, Gerrard, Riera, Skrtel have all been injured this season and Aquilani hasn't even played yet.

Right now Johnson, Benayoun, Kuyt and dare I say Lucas have played above and beyond their previous levels.

I just WISH we could put this lineup out there for the rest of the season

You played well today Benayoun owned Evra and was motm imo not Torres, but Torres is just pure class give him a sniff and he punishes you.


I honestly feel were two players short a top goalscorer and a play making midfielder, we have been average all season like I said previsouly, but everyone else have been pretty average aswell.

Id love for Fergie to buy Modric and Villa in January that would give us a great boost.
