I thought Abraham-Dirrell was set for January? Looks like we're getting some good fights at the start of next year anyway

Apparently Abraham got the flu?? I dont know.

I dont know why this fight is in the USA, Dirrell hasnt even got any fans. Fair enough all things should be fair with you having to do your fair share of travelling in this event, but surely financially this fight makes more sense being in Germany?

The Froch Kessler fight im thinking about going, if it's Copenhagen that is.

Froch-Kessler should be a good fight. I was thinking about waiting and going to Froch-Abraham whenever that is next year. Either way i can't see that going the distance. That's probably right about the fight maiking more financial sense in Germany, i thought Dirrell couldn't get on American tv a few years ago, but i'm not sure. Although it wouldn't be good to have to fight Froch in England then Abraham in Germany.

Really guys? Denmark is seriously expensive, and I don't mean Central London expensive. Think London then triple it. So if it's gonna work out expensive you may aswell go to the biggest fight of our generation in March.

I'be been checking daily and you can do Vegas for around £450 for the Pac Vs PBF weekend. I know which one I'm going to!

I was very disappointed in the big K man, he will need to improve dramatically on his last performance to beat Froch. I am still puzzled.

I think Froch will suit Kesslers style far more than Ward did.

I agree. TBH though, I think Froch is a sitting duck. I don't think he'll beat Kessler, but his match with Abraham will be REALLY brutal, and I don't think it'll be Abraham on his back.

Not you personally mate but makes me laugh this board Froch has gone from being over rated to under rated .

Dirrell would make alot of fighters look bad, Froch I think beats Kessler Im not a huge Froch fan but all the idiots who still go on about Taylor schooling him until the twelfth are stupid, after round 7 Froch was outjabbing and working Taylor over until the 11th which was probably round of the year I felt Taylor sneaked it, but overall that was a close fight till Froch finished it.

Froch against a come forward fighter like Kessler who has decent boxing skills but has zero defense and zero upper body movement will be a close fight, Darren Barker who has sparred both reckons Froch would beat Kessler. I know sparring is sparring but I think alot of people are getting carried away with there predictions of some Kessler massacre.

That would be the same Darren Barker promoted by Mick Hennessy. Which of the Super-Six fighters does he promote again?

I've long thought Froch is a one-dimensional fighter, shocking considering he was actually a pretty good amateur. I don't think he beats any of the guys in the Super-Six apart from maybe Taylor. I think Froch has already taken too much punishment & I expect him to be stopped by Kessler within 10.

Not that you'll have noticed I have anything against the guy that might colour my judgement

Yes I agree Copenhagen is one of the most Expensive cities in the world about a tenner for a pint I think.

But the cost of flights are cheap you can get £90 Quid return to Copenhagen and I fancy going Thursday come back Monday hopefully do the whole trip for 5 ton.

Listen, I was at the fight and you are right in the sense that we could feel the tide beginning to turn around the 7th or 8th round. However, compare Taylor's performance against Froch to Taylor's performance against Abraham or Pavlik. It's night and day. Taylor looked far worse against Pavlik and Abraham than against Froch, which in some sense highlights Froch's vulnerability. Don't get me wrong, however, a win is a win, however it gets done.

Froch loses his next two matches against Kessler and Abraham.

Edit: if he wins those matches against my prediction, Calzaghe needs come out of retirement and establish his claim once and for all as the greatest super middleweight to ever come out of retirement because wins over Pascal, Taylor, Dirrell, Kessler, and Abraham would overshadow Calzaghe's biggest wins.

Scandinavian countries are about the most expensive places you can go along with some cities in Japan. However, a cheap flight plus one night to stay over can be quite ok, it's just that 2-3 pints will be in line instead of 8-9
