Why not?? Hatton was realistically a much better fighter than Juan Diaz ever was, it's hardly as though Malignaggi has vastly improved as a fighter.. Hatton was an excellent fighter in some rights, and had all the right advantages over Paulie. He had quick feet, good output and aresenal of punches, dug the body well and coult cut off the ring properly. Paulie is really almost useless against a guy who can do so and employ an effective offense. He can't punch worth shit, he's not to accurate, doesn't have great speed, no real ring generalship... Blah I haven't even seen the fight tonight I shouldn't really type anymore.

These fights in the USA are too late for me now, but i normally catch up on all the fghts the next day. So i'll let you know later or tomorrow. But as for there 1st fight i think Paul Malignaggi won the 1st fight by 7-5.

Agreed. For me, Hatton and Cotto are a class beyond any fighter that Malignaggi has beaten. Hatton gets underrated on the back of his recent losses, but he really was an excellent fighter on his day. Malignaggi can outwork the likes of Diaz handily, but you raise the bar significantly higher and he begins to struggle.

I think Malignaggi would have quite a few problems with Bradley. I would quite like to see Malignaggi against Khan because I think it would be hilarious to see Malignaggi shake him up a little and think he would too.

I don't like the Baby Bull either. By the way... neutral site my ass. I wouldn't have been surprised to see Paulie robbed there also. Luckily, the crowd didn't sway the judges, and in the end they saw and judged it correctly.

Paulie is a mystery fighter...Some times he will go out and impress the hell out of you with hios skill and movement then others he looks like shit...

I seen him fight an 8 rounder on the undercard of Froch/Taylor and he looked like shit and it was a fight against a 3rd rate opp and it was just a filler fight for the card....Malinaggi looked like a clown...then he fights Diaz next and looked great.,..

Last night Paulie had a point to prove so he came in with his A game

I have nothing against Diaz but he never made it for me. I dislike Paulie a lot though, but I firmly think that in their first bout, he won it and is the victim of a very bad decision. If the judges do not mess up and if Paulie doesn't try to do too much in their rematch, I think he'll get a decisive win.

I think Marquez has ruined Diaz.

It's just ever since the Marquez stoppage loss, he doesn't seem right.

His workrate isn't there and neither is the pressure he used to apply.

Paulie was very sharp this fight. He is still so annoying, I ended up fast forwarding through several rounds.

He actually stunned Juan and stood there making faces. Then made faces when Juan hit him, what an idiot.

He clearly showed up in peak condition and had a great performance, but I can't stand him.

Also Juan had a bad night, didn't look like he was there for most of the fight. Maybe the Marquez fight did ruin him cause he was lethargic last night and hasn't been nearly as aggressive since.
