I have so much respect for him, surely if he beats Arreola he gets in there.

For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.
Well I guess he technically can't seeing as he's now moved to heavyweight and even if heavies were included it would be impossible to put him on the list as he's completely unproven in that division.
But I do get what you're saying though, a two weight world champ now fighting at a third weight would probably merit consideration for any lower weight fighter.
James Toney was clearly a p4p fighter a few years back though who never made any lists because he had gone up to heavyweight, much more so than Adamek.
But I like Adamek. I don't know how good he is, I mean aside from the freak knockdown Chad Dawson handled him with ease. I think the cruiserweight division was in a very poor state, O'Neil Bell especially just quit on him.
There's no real names on his record, Cunningham I guess is the best, Bell was mentally gone and doesn't mean anything and I barely know the other names on his resume. Golota was kind of a freak matchup, he's been done for years.
I'd love to see him against David Haye though, that's a great matchup imo.
I like everything Bilbo had to say, especially about fighting at three divisions and James Toney... that would have meant he made the p4p in two different decades.
Adamek started with a 'named' fighter... and one of the biggest fights in his home country. Jason Estrada was a real test at today's HW standards.
He has to prove himself against Arreola, then he is among the top ten in the division. If he wins against Chris, who does he fight next? Ray Austin? Kali Meehan? Eddie Chambers?
The only way he will be considered in the p4p is with a legit belt around his waist. and yes... he an Haye are prime for their meeting!
There aren't many fighters that consistently fight whoever is put in front of them, and usually his will brings him out on top, he must get respect for that, he fought the best at Light Heavy, the best at Cruiser and he's been very active establishing himself as a heavyweight. Arreola is his 2nd fight at heavy this year.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.
Adamek is one of my favourite fighters, and has been since the Briggs wars. He has great will and good chin and power, but probably gets hit a little too often. I agree the haye match up would be a great fight cos I can see it going only 2 ways, a early KO for Haye or a decision for Adamek. If he could get thru hayes initial onslaught I think Adamek would make DAvi pay dearly in the late rounds.
He isnt taking easy fights at Heavy either. Other than Golota, Estrada and arreola are about as tough as the comp gets at heavy other then the Klits these days.
He's in my top 20 p4p. Ring magazine had him at 30 on their last top 100 list.
If he beats Arreola the he will defo be in my p4p 10 list. Its all fictional and means nothing but IMO he will one of teh very best fighters on the planet at any weight.
I think he will beat Chris aswel.
I am saying that for over a year now, it would be a superb matchup, if Haye lose against Ruiz or then against Klitschko, that a a match that could be all fireworks, especially in England where Haye has a huge crowd following him and where more than 700 000 Polish live today.

That's the way it is, not the way it ends
Like Tigerfan above he is ion my top 20....The jump to HW and the fact he has not had any real bouts there yet is a big factor like Bilbo mentioned....
Adamek is a top notch fighter with only loss being to another P4P rated fighter Chad Dawson...In a fight that many believe Adameks poor performance had to do with weight issues.....
He beats Arreola he makes top 10 for sure...
I like Adamek myself. But I think Arreola is going to smash him. And smash him badly
I hope Adamek will win. He is my favourite boxer. Real pride of Poland.
If Adamek beats Arreola, he breaks into the top ten p4p or damn close. Cunningham was and now is the man at 200. That was a war of a fight where Adamek came out on top. Banks wasn't a bad win at cruiserweight either - he just beat Travis Walker at heavyweight. O'Neil Bell was another good win. Yes, he was past his best, but a solid win nonetheless.
I have to agree with Violent D though, Arreala is just too big of a step up in weight. He'll walk through Adamek's punches so unless Adamek can stick and move for 12 rounds, he's done.
