    Default Koki Kameda

I'm starting to really like this Kameda kid since watching him in his last few fights. He's only 23 and still improving, already a 2 weight world champ and could clean out 112. Technically he's the lineal champ since he beat Naito and the lineage can be trace back, but the Ring Magazine will recognize his fight with Wonjongkam on 3/27 for it's Ring champion.

His fight with Naito in December of '09 was the most watched combat sporting event in Japan with more than half the country tuning in. MMA has a market in Japan, but even they can't draw those numbers compared to it's top boxing matches.

Koki Kameda is amazing, Violent Demise has been following him for a long, long time. That's how I heard about him. With my personal angst against Wonjongkam, a Kameda victory would be an super rewarding fight for me.

His brother Daiki I am not as impressed with, I think he has the will to win, but he's lacking in the skills department and tends to become an extremely dirty fighter when things don't go his way. His fights against Kaovichit were absolute crap.

With Koki and Hasegawa, Japan has very solid champs in two weight classes. Now if we could just get them to fight in America......................

I like the Kameda brothers. I'm not so keen on Daiki, but Koki & Tomoki have a lot of quality. Although seeing as Koki is already a 2 weight world champ that much is obvious. But I like the fact that they are real shit-talkers (they make PBF look like the Pope) & don't seem to fear anybody.

I really hope he beats Pongsaklek, who imo is mercilessly overrated by a number of writers. I think after he beat Naito up like he did, he should have more than enough for Mick's favourite fighter

Damn, that's tough. It's actually making me think that might be a good workout. Although obviously you'd have to hope the guy with sledgehammer was completely accurate

That's what I'm thinking too, I've done the sledgehammer on the tire thing quite a few times and I can honestly say there's a chance I would remove his head

Yeah Kameda looks good in almost every fight except for the 1st Landaeta fight which he then gave the guy a rematch and then dominated him. I didn't even know that he fought the great Saman Sorjaturong in only his 7th pro fight at 18 years old, although Sorjaturong was past his best, that was still a huge step up in terms of level of competition at that stage and age.

I remember Bilbo kept on saying Amir Khan has the best resume of any 23 year old, well I would like to introduce to him Koki Kameda.

Tomoki is the youngest (Eighteen years old) and biggest of them all. He's a bantamweight. He's not as popular as his brothers cuz he's only fought a couple of times in Japan. He was shipped off to Mexico to learn the Mexican way of fighting. So most of his fights have been there. I seen 2 of his fights. He's looked good. But he was in against real dreadful opposition. From what i hear and read he's adapted well. He's known as El Mexicanito. And fights in trunks with colors of the Mexican flag
