Im not sad, he was very sick for a long time now, about a 20 year fight.
Don was amazing more so than Zappa for me, but thats like comparing Everest and Uluru.
Both were magnificent in there own way.
I grew up with the Magic bands stuff at each party.
No music/or lyrics compares to it, ever. Its an acquired rough but sculptured taste that rubs many up the wrong way but puts the hairs on the back of the fans necks at attention every time they hear their own favorite tracks.
I missed me, so Im back!
