They played a bit better, will be interesting to see if they're getting more belief finding each other better when they play against some real teams or if it's just because we were playing against Slovenia.

Yet to see them play from behind either so it will be interesting to see if that would make or break them.

Still not entirely convinced, after the first goal they started coming alive Rooney (although still pretty garbage... I think he needs to watch Rocky 3... reckon he's lost the eye of the tiger?) was unlucky not to score but 1-0 to Slovenia isn't a lot to right home about.

The did atleast put some effort in, which has got my interest slightly... we'll soon find out where we really stand next round.

2000 Wembley I think last time we lost, looks like 50/50 game to me but we need to start taking our chances, not got a fucking hope now ( as if we did anyway ) Germans then Argies then Spain then Brazil hahaha, could of had Ghana who couldn't score in a brass house with all there 23 men sqaud with fifty's stuck to there nobs, then the winner of Uruguay and Korea. On paper that looked like a safe passage to the semi's for me now we have to beat Germans and Argies no fucking chance.

been a bit hesitant to post on saddos over the past few weeks due to the potential embarrasment of going out in the 1st round.

On the plus side we`ve got another weekend still in the world cup, on the minus USA the only official country who couldnt care a less about the world cup finished above the country that has the worlds richest league

had we of won 2-0 yesterday our passage to the semi finals would of been pretty simple (ghana in the 2nd round and then korea in the quarter finals) now its germany and argentina, we just cant make sod all impression at world level

To be honest after watching them for three games I didn't really care if we played Germany or Ghana. Germany's not that great. Fact.

Its a winnable game for England. That's as far as it goes though most likely with Argentina waiting.

#1 America is FULLY invested in this World Cup, I've never seen this place so wild about soccer. (Not since we beat Spain and took Brazil to the brink)
