Default Tavoris Cloud vs Glen Johnson My Scorecard

Sorry for two threads, but i thought i'd make another one. So we could have seperate debates on both fights.

    1 Cloud
    2 Johnson
    3 Johnson
    4 Cloud
    5 Cloud
    6 Johnson
    7 Johnson
    8 Cloud
    9 Johnson
    10 Even
    11 Cloud
    12 Cloud

    115-114 Tavoris Cloud

Glen Johnson is amazing honestly, forgetting if i think Tavoris Cloud is like the new Jeff Lacy. He's still a dangerous/powerful young fighter, and Glen Johnson stayed with him all the way at 41 amazing. Really makes you proud to be a boxing fan.

But i do feel Tavoris Cloud edged it in the championship rounds, really close fight though.

114-114 had every round the same as Lederer.

116-112 from all 3 judges is very strange imo. I do find it very odd than none of the 3 judges gave Johnson more than 4 rounds, he clearly won 5 imo (I thought there were 3 pick em rounds, 1, 10 and 12).

If i was watching the fight without scoring I would have thought Cloud did the better stuff and deserved the nod but round by round the way it has to be scored I thought it could have gone either way.

Everytime Tavoris Cloud turned it up, he had Glen Johnson in trouble. Maybe he thought Glen Johnson was durable, and he wanted to fight in spurts. But he should of turned it up more, instead of taking rounds off all the time, his stamina is normally pretty good he threw a ton of punches in Clinton Woods fight.

i disagree, Johnson looked legitimately off balance and was just waiting Cloud out, the reason Clouds output was so low at times was cause Johnson would go in and FORCE him to drop his output by working Clouds body, Johnson really didn't waste many punches and you could see he was looking for the openings and throwing straight shots to the body while keeping his jab in Tavoris' face, i thought it was a close fight but i had Johnson winning by around 2 points

Fight was close neither guy really did enough to be called the clear winner so the judges decided, and they chose cloud. Can't see how johnson or anyone else can be surprised to see him loose another decision

I had Johnson winning the fight 7 rounds to 5.

I gave him the 1st and 10th rounds. The 1st was close and coulda gone to cloud making it a draw. The 10th I thought was close but clear for Johnson.

The judges apparently didn't care to score the fight closely and just made up a number at the end of the fight as the outcome was already predetermined for both fights.

8 rounds to 4 for the two favorites.

I had Cloud 7-5 , so 8-4 sounds good to me
