Default Amir Khan: I can end Mayweather's unbeaten record!

Amir Khan: "I Can End Mayweather's Unbeaten Record!" - Boxing News

Khan believes after he beats Maidana and the winner of Bradley-Alexander, that he would want to fight Mayweather, something proposed by Richard Schaeffer as a possible Mayweather opponent. And of course he thinks he can take Mayweather.

As someone said on bs, Khan would see 72 virgins at the end of the night if the fight did take place.

Why is Floyd's name still being bought up if he is likely to go prison
Just stick to fighting 140lbsers Amir... Forget about Floyd.

    EVERYONE should forget about Floyd...

Funny that Amir is calling out Floyd now that he's likely going to prison. Chicken shit tactic on Kahn's part IMO. Floyd isn't a big puncher but Khan isn't going to stand up to Floyd's power. Not with that China Chin of his.

I remember Khan pretty much calling out hatton because he thought he was going to retire. Hatton started entertaining the idea and then all of a sudden Khan started telling the press how he thought reicky should call it a day.

It seems to me Khan thinks Floyd is either going to prison if not fighting Pac so he's going to mouth off.

Khan hasn't the power to trouble floyd and doesn't have the tools to out box him. I think floyd would win over 12 rounds in a dull contest because of amir running away from about round 5 onwards.

khan has alot of talent which nobody can dispute, but, many boxing fans are starting to think he's nothing but a hyped up fraud who likes to call out fighters who are close to retirement or who are past their primes. would like to see him fight a prime victor ortiz, alexander or bradley. guaranteed he would lose to all three of those guys.

There is too much hate for Khan, he is taking on puncher, he will take on the winner of Brad v Alexander, what more can he do?

i for one don't hate khan. i just don't think he's proven himself against the top fighters at jr. welter. furthermore, i think he's vastly overhyped. maybe it isn't his fault he's getting overhyped but he sure has hell loves the attention and the hype!

Hold up, lets get things in perspective, Richard Schaeffer is going around promoting Khan's fight with Maidana and in the process telling everyone Khan is a future Mayweather opponent, so what does everyone want Khan to say "no i ain't fighting Floyd he'd whoop my ass"

    Come on people.. get real

If Khan slaughters Maidana and Bradley he becomes one of the most credible opponents for Floyd without doubt, eighteen months down the line people would be loving this fight. Fact.

18 months down the road floyd will be 35, who knows maybe they're talking about when he's 36 even...sorry I wouldn't find it all that impressive if Amir did whoop him then. We know speed and reflexes go first and 35 is about an age when fighter's capabilities normally do diminish, especially at these smaller weights. Not everyone is a bhop and fighting as good as ever into late 30's, although he should hang em up as well these days. Who knows though amir's chin might be complete glass and he wouldn't even go 5...If however they're talking about the fight right now floyd mostly easy ud, perhaps even ko if Amir's chin is complete glass.

    Amir whooping Floyd

No disrespect to your post man but the thought of that.

If FLoyd is still unbeaten at 36 Khan would still be a big underdog.

Yeah if floyd got OLD as every fighter does I think Amir could do it, hell a bunch of fighters could, hence I wouldn't find it impressive nor give amir credit for it. As long as amir's chin isn't complete glass which it seems to be tho. No disrespect taken, and I don't think all that highly of Amir, hence I think he'll loose to maidana. I'm just talkin about floyd significantly slipping ala roy I guess you could say, should have made that more clear. Also shouldn't have said whooping, but more like scrape by with an sd.

i just hope khan doesn't run for 12 rounds against maidana. if he does, he wins by decision because of his superior speed, reach and height. if he decides he wants to make it a fight, maidana will surely knock him out.

But he will run. Pop n Run. That's his key to win the fight.

Khan would have been dosing if Barrera had Chino's power.
