I have always like them, but never been a huge fan. I was going to buy a whole load of their albums, maybe all of them! Any fans, any tips on best albums?

'Seventh Son of a Seventh Son' and 'Somewhere in Time' were my favorites personally, but I haven't listened to Maiden in many many years.

They've been going forever ...... they've done some classics like 'Run to the Hills' and 'Number of the Beast' which always get mentioned in all-time favourite rock lists.

Did you know that the lead singer, Bruce Dickinson, is a qualified airline pilot and that he also represented Great Britain's fencing team at the olympics?

I'm a huge Bowie fan, I have pretty much everything he has ever released. He has only really released 2 poor albums with a lean patch in the mid-eighties. The '70's output is almost untouchable for me, only The Beatles come anywhere close to that kind of consecutive run of really consistent albums. Also the fact that it was often an album a year for artists in those days, makes it all the more impressive.
