After Tim Kudgis broke the news earlier about the possibility that Michael Sprott may be fighting Roy Jones Jnr. I managed to grab a word with Michael’s agent and manager Frank Joseph and he had this to say in an exclusive interview with Undisputed.
“We met Roy Jones Jnr today at Piccadilly Circus in London. We went for a meal and discussed the possibility about the fight happening. Roy wants this fight. At the moment we are just trying to work out dates for possible February or March of next year as well as a venue for the fight too. Which we hope might be the O2 Arena, Wembley Arena or somewhere up north.”
“Roy has been talking about getting the winner of (David) Haye and (Audley) Harrison but we feel he has to get through us first. At the end of the day Michael beat Audley over three rounds and then was beating him over 11 before he was caught with a hail mary punch.”
“Sky Sports are already interested in that deal and possibly Showtime too. We are also talking to Dennis Hobson who wants to promote it.”
“Originally Evander Holyfield’s people contacted us about a fight which they wanted to have in Switzerland. There is also the possibility of Michael doing some UFC but a fight with Roy seems the likely path to go down.”
Michael was unavailable for a comment but I will be talking to him next week for Undisputed to talk about a possible fight with the legendary Roy Jones Jnr and his recent Prizefighter success.

In amongst that did anyone else worryingly see that Sprott is also considering UFC!

Why would he want to get cuddled into submission is beyond me.

It's not going to be hard to tell here whose career has slipped the most, but at least they're both drinking in the same saloon, where they're both sipping on a Last Swing at Glory...

There seriously should be some board that just bans certain fighters from fighting on...hang em up roy . Last good win came what 6 years ago The reflexes and that speed are never coming back, and his chin is obviously more limestone than granite. Worrying thing is if he wins he'll end up fighting someone good at heavy which could be disaster, at least not wlad though because he said he wouldn't fight roy nor holyfield, hope that haye and vitali and other heavy hitters make the same decision.

And I thought Jones was scrapping the bottom of the barrel with Santiago. And win over lifetime scrub Sprott means even less than his win over Omar Sheika. It's been time to go Roy. Like 5 years
