    Default Lets be serious here...

If Haye doesnt KTFO Harrison between the rounds 3-8 it will be a joke. Harrison isnt a fighter who is worthy of fighting a fighter like Haye and he really doesnt deserve it. Let's not forget Harrison lost to Martin Rogan...yes MARTIN ROGAN who is a good demestic level fighter and what has Harrison ever done significant if his career? NOTHING! He has struggled throughout his career and apart from beating a broken Danny Williams he has never looked good.

The only chance he has of beating Haye is surviving till the very late rounds surviving a Haye battering and waiting till he is tired and somehow knocking him out late. I dont see how he can outpoint a slick and powerful Haye and i dont see him being able to survive the whole fight without being tagged significantly to be able to mount a good chance of winning the fight.

I think Hayes quality of oppostion and experience of fighting quality of opposition ( in comparison to Harrison ) is far more outstanding. Haye will know how to beat him safely and I think he will stop him between the 5-8th rounds.

Harrisons real chance is to knock him out very late as I said before Harrisons only chance is to stop him late. Haye has shown throughout his career his is capable of tiring out late in a fight as shown in the Ruiz fight. But Haye showed enough quality to end the fight in good style.

I dont think Harrison will be able to take the shots Ruiz did and still come forward. We know for a fact Haye isnt going to stop throwing good power shots from the opening rounds which I dont think Harrison will be prepared for. He hasnt been in the ring with anybody in Hayes league and this will show in the fight and I am very sure Haye is going to win by knockout.

    Haye KO 3-8 rounds.

    Good post.

It's a silly fight really. No way in a million years has Haye been recieving hundreds of emails begging for a fight with Harrison. If true, you would have to imagine there were millions of emails begging for a fight with one of the Klitschko's too. He conveniently tucks that one under the carpet.

I'm not feeling right in the head, so I am going with Harrison by KO or decision win.

If the only way Audrey wins is by late KO, can you really see Haye getting tired and clumsy late on (ala Sprott)?

If Haye had come in much heavier, I could maybe see it, but because he is clearly so well conditioned I think the more the fight goes on, the better it will make Haye look.

I predict a boring first round as they feel things out, then Haye will start landing bombs and Audley will shell up while Haye dances around.

Continue that for the rest of the fight and Haye will probably take a decision in a huge anti climax.

    Decent thread, guys.

If we are being really serious ...... we are being sold a dud with this whole fight anyway.

There is no way that Harrison should be fighting for a world title. He is 38, a long record of underachievement behind him, not an exciting fighter to watch and shouldnt be ranked anywhere near any top 20. Can you imagine him as a titleholder, and where he would be ranked against previous WBC and World heavyweight champs?

Haye himself is massively overrated. He beat a completely inept Valuev to win the title and then defended against a washed up John Ruiz (and Ruiz in his prime was probably the worst heavyweight to hold a world title). Haye can punch, to be fair to him, but he is much too small to be a force in todays heavyweight division and the Klitschko brothers are so far ahead of anyone else that Haye will not be remembered as a fighter unless he beats one of them. he is chinny and also is coming across as a pretty unpleasant character.

This fight marks another nadir in the sometimes sordid histoiry of heavyweight boxing.

The sad thing is that a third rate Audley actually has a chance!

I think Audley will cause problems for Haye with his height and reach but do think he will get caught and go back into his shell and be negative.
