Possibly the greatest fight seen on British shores in recent history.
Well worthy of another watch.
If you haven't see it before, you're in for a treat.
Five knockdowns, a towel ignored, round 4 was one of the best you will ever see.![]()

That was a really exciting fight. I wish every fight could have at least a quarter of that drama.
I watch that fight all the time...absolutely brutal from start to finish.
Micky Vann did a great job in that fight. Whatever happened to him? Haven't seen him ref a fight in a while.
Great fight Earls career was basically over after that beating he took some big shots in that fight and showed great courage, Kats has improved so much since that fight props to both.
Yes but what has that got to do with the improvements he's supposedly made ? yes he hadn't fought anyone prior to fighting Graham Earl, but that isn't my question. Skel stated he's made major improvements.
He's fought better opposition after Graham Earl obviously, but he didn't win those fights by making major improvements. He won them by fighting the same style he always has, and that's coming forward showing alot of bottle and and out willing his opponents.
And the reason he lost two fights is because he always fights the same way, by coming forward providing alot of action but also leaving himself very exposed. Which is why he got KO'ed by Joel Casamayor and outboxed by Juan Diaz.
It's no different to Arturo Gatti, who always fought the same way whether he won or lost. Or whatever type of opponent he fought, he only started to box more when he went with Buddy McGirt. But he still easily got lured into a brawl.

I know what you meant pal, I was only joking.
Oh ok my bad i wasn't sure if you agreed with Skel or not, i just don't think he's made any major improvements personally. An improved fighter is someone like Timothy Bradley or Amir Khan, clearly you can see they've improved there game.
Especially Timothy Bradley who i thought was only goodish at best, when he fought Junior Witter. Now he's top 10 P4P fighter, he literally shows me something new everytime he fights.

Great fight. More brutal than Katsidis-Amonsot.
