is there any supplements I should take after sparring to help protect my brain? also is there anything that I should avoid? is it normal to get headaches afterwards?

try and avoid the punches dude, your head wont hurt as much afterwards and it will probly do less damage

i mean, evferybody loves a brawler, makes for an exciting fight

so really you have a choice, entertain the fans and get headaches or dont

    get me?

or maybe get a bigger head guard

I don't know if there is anything supplement to help protect the brain after sparring except for REST! If you are experiencing headaches after sparring you may have a concussion. The worse thing you can do is spar. Stop sparring and training altogether if you get headaches. And definitely visit your doctor. You need advise from a doctor and be completely truthful with him. A lot of boxers override their intelligence with machismo. Don't be that guy.
