Enzo is one of my favourite fighters but I think he should've hung up the gloves. He's suffered too many knockouts over the past couple of years. I was at the show in September when Frenkel sparked him out and it was hard to watch as he is one of the nice guys in boxing. Was lucky he wasn't really hurt as he could've quite easily have been killed.

Don't know about him coming back to be fair... But one thing I'll say is that I've always said he always looked to be carrying a decent amount of 'soft weight' and that he could probably have boiled down to 175 without too much bother.

He certainly wasn't tight at cruiser... not at all.

This is obviously inspired by the potential money earner with Cleverly.

Cleverly wins title. Enzo sparks some sap on the undercard. You have an all Welsh guaranteed seller.

Former "world" champ coming off impressive KO win is a great first defense for the new kid on the block. So it goes...

i agree on the all welsh title fight thing, it would be a big seller

appart from financially for the one fight, which is would obviously be nice for both men, from a stock point of view i dont think clev gains much from fighting enzo

if he knocks him out so has everybody else, if he wins on points why didnt he knock him out and if he loses?

There's a rumour on Fightnews that Cleverly may even fight Enzo on the 2nd of April, since Cleverly's fight with Braehmer is postponed due to "undisclosed reasons" Boxing - Brähmer-Cleverly postponed?

That aside I absolutely adore Enzo, seems like such a decent down to earth guy but, hes been hit too much, too hard and too often. Not sure going down a weight is gonna change that.

What he gains financially is the only thing that matters. They are prizefighters. That fight would sell in Wales if Cleverly was "world" champ and Enzo was coming of an impressive blast out.

FW has given his "world" champions far easier early defenses.

I would like to see Enzo retire he has taken to many big shots. He is a decent guy and nobody wants to see him get ko'ed in the fashion he has been lately.

A fighter that suffers like he did in the last fight should not be making comebacks.

Here's a reminder (don't forget, he somehow got up after the first knock down!) If you think the first KO is brutal, watch the video to the end to see the final KO.

He is still young and it is his decision and career. One last go.

Glass Joe from Mike Tysons punchout has a better chin than this guy. He could knock himself out putting on aftershave. Why bother coming back, unless he's strapped for cash.

I heard rumours about this a month or so ago that Enz was considering a comeback at light heavyweight, but that he felt like he'd let himself down over recent fights. Don't think the money is a big thing, I think he more thinks that he's got unfinished business. As Adam mentioned, he's never really been a proper cruiserweight, he didn't need to struggle making weight at all, as his normal weight is within cruiser limit.

Granted he's taken a few KOs, but he never got to go down the British title route and that belt is vacant at light heavy, and he's a good guy, and if he wants to come back then I'll definitely be supporting him.
