Vitali is on a good number there.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
That's not including the bet Solis made against himself for a first round KO!![]()
5 million per minute for Vitali. Wish i could get paid like that.
is this for real ?? Vitali got around 10 million pounds
I find this a littke hard to believe. Surey not
Don't bully fat kids - they've got enough on their plate
the 2nd HW in the world gets 5 million per minute and some a$$holes still say the heavyweight division is dead.![]()
Me too, at first one would think that facing a little known fighter like Solis, but apparently Klitschko does his own promotion. K2 Promotions. Looking at the past numbers $15 Million is about right because they didn't go for a purse bid. Solis wanted $1.5 million.
It seems hard to believe but if you dig hard enough you can get the actual info as fanjohnny has posted. The Klits aren't popular in America or Britain but that doesn't mean they don't earn serious bank. Again many fans are looking at it from that perspective but the Klits as mentioned do their own promotion and have many of the tv rights to broadcast their fights in many countries.
So again I have always found it laughable that many suggested they need Haye for big money fights when they are getting paid like Mayweather and Pacquiao, but they just don't get the press and coverage that those 2 get in America or Britain.
As an American I will tell you there are VERY FEW sports reporters/writers/pundits that appreciate the Klitschko's reign as top dogs in the heavyweight division. I can only name maybe 2 Dan Rafael and maybe Al Bernstien everyone else has just written them off or tries to discredit them especially guys that should fucking know better like Bert Sugar. This past Sunday the Klitschko's got mentioned on ESPN's 'The Sports Reporters' where Jeremy Schaap joined the congress of idiots that think the brothers should fight each other...granted he did mention that only because they have been so dominant recently, but still it's a grotesque idea.
The heavyweight division isn't dead, but serious work needs to be done in regards to matchmaking. I like fights like Peter-Helenius being made, that's what we need more of! Prospects that want to test themselves and veterans that want another title shot. Guys like Povetkin should have done this YEARS ago. There's enough old veterans out there to build up some prospects and there are some old vets like Sam Peter that can still compete at a relatively high level.
The Klitschko's are great representatives of the sport and I think the majority of coverage they recieve in the US is disrespectful lazy journalism, but hey what's new.
i think we all always knew haye was talking crap about everything......just goes to show that even if haye got a 70/30 split with the klits geting the bigger slice haye would still be getting the biggest payday of his life, so all that talk before from camp haye was total crap that haye would be getting next to nothing
