    Default Pacquiao and Mayweather

Since I am completely tired of all the damn bellyaching about these two. Is it safe to say that no matter what name you put next to either of the two, the majority of people will find it a mismatch until both guys fight each other? I'm convinced unless Manny or Floyd climb up to fight Martinez, there's a way to criticize their opponent. Since everyone they fight is a mismatch, they minus well just keep trying to fight each other until they finally come to an agreement instead of fight other people out there.

I'm convinced they fight each other when they are already 40 and it's useless for boxing fans.

Like I've said on another thread, I wish Duckweather would leave boxing to pugs who want to fight, please just fucking retire. I have absolutely no interest in watching or buying one of his PPVs, even if by some miracle, he took a fight with Pacquiao.

As for "Manny or Floyd climbing up to fight Martinez", why not let Duckweather do that? But he won't, because he doesn't have the cojones. Manny's Legacy is already set in stone, and he doesn't need a risky fight with the much bigger, more powerful, Martinez that could tarnish or end his career.

Exactly. I've been quite critical of Manny's recent fights since Cotto, as I felt they were tailor made for him & none at that point was even near the best opposition not called Mayweather. That said I don't hate the Marquez fight. He deserves it, my only hope is he can squeeze another in the summer. The irony is when he was fighting Mosley, everyone said he should fight JMM. Now he is, he should be fighting Ortiz.

I've got less criticisms of Mayweather's recent opponents, although the Marquez fight wasn't far off the farce many have claimed it & his bs with the weight pissed me off. That said, Mosley was the best opponent when he fought him & Ortiz is the best available guy right now.

I can't believe people expect these guys to fight the fuckin' Middleweight Champ when they've already come from the small weight classes. Yet they've a massive beef with them fighting JMM & don't see why Martinez should even consider fighting 168lbers.

I do think they will fight after these next fights assuming they both win. The only possible alternative opponents for either after this would be guys like Saul Alvarez or Chavez Jr & I just don't see it happening, certainly not yet.

This situation got so bad that they had to dedicate a whole separate account for this topic. I can see that happening again.
