Default Darren Barker ya big soppy bollock, you gave me tears in my eyes.

    Does anybody deserve it more?

It was a bad, bad night for world champions, Cleverly lost his light heavy title to Kovalev, Jhonathen Romero lost his title to Kiko Martinez and Daniel Geale lost his middleweight title to Barker.

I believe they will make a movie about Barker, it's almost guaranteed.

No one in boxing deserves it more.

Nice victory and he can set up some big domestic matches with Murray and Macklin.

    Me too.

I could barely watch the last round, if he didn't make it to the cards after being in a cracking close fight, it would have been one of the most disappointing things i've seen in boxing.

What Barker showed us was toughness, something I felt he did not posses well done
    I'm glad I was WRONG.!
I hope he makes some money out of that title.

It was very moving and great for British boxing. Now Martinez has a belt either Frampton or Quigg have a great chance of adding to the list of domestic champions too.

Me also. That liver shot would have put 99.9% of the boxing population into a lumpy mess on the floor. When he acknowledged his brother and was holding back something rolled down my cheek.

That was just a beautiful body blow. Right on the money. I was surprised he made it up. And I'm surprised he made it out the round. I don't think there would of been much argument if the referee would of stopped it when Barker was just taking punches. Great comeback by Barker. I'm happy for him.

That was a very enjoyable scrap. He not only survived what would normally be a fight ending liver shot but came back to punch with authority. I look forward to his next go!

I think you should allow the fight to go further if it is only a body shot. Just like Gatti v Ward.

That shot actually looked much worse then the Ward/Gatti ones. It was more like a Gatti/Dorin shot.

If it was as bad as that he would never had thought of getting up.
