Official rules on counts for KOs - what are they?
Yo guys. Im trying to find out this info and its surprisingly hard to find any official rules on it for some reason.
What condition does a fighter have to be in by the refs count of 10 after being knocked down to be deemed good to continue?
Ive just watched the Martinez/Cintron fight and Max Kellerman was saying that as long as nothing but your feet are touching the canvas by the time the ref says 10, you are ok. Cintron satisifed this particular rule but is Kellerman correct? Ive heard a lot of people say Cintron got counted out in that fight you see but if Kellerman is correct then the ruling of no KO is correct.
Ive heard on other occasions you have to up and ready to defend yourself by the count of 10 as well.
Whats the official rules on this? Cheers
