I downloaded this summer after I moved to Vancouver. I've used it a grand total of once.
I was also interviewed by three people for a job once and one of them was Skyped in. That was strange.
I've always thought of skying male strangers as rather gay. It does not surprise me at all that Nameless does it.
Sorry JT but I'd imagine Miles will likely find it as abhorrent and repellent as me.
Cams are for interactions between teen girls and sleazy older men pretending to be teen boys. Anything else is weird and unacceptable imo.
Yeah, as with Facebook I just see no need for Skype either. I am not a social networking type really and I don't really want to be on a camera in front of anyone.
This place really is as far as I go online. I will email people and post a little on a teachers forum, but this is where I go and I like the structure of reading and replying to posts. I like the simplicity and being able to respond in your own time. Chatting is a different kind of discourse entirely.
I enjoy it this and need little more as far as online activity goes.
Haha! You don't have to use the camera... It has a text feature and talk... Don't flatter yourselves![]()
So what is Skype exactly? Like a messenger thing?
Downloaded it but do not know how to use it.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
Nameless has skype because when he was in Europe, he could call unlimited to anywhere in North America for 3 bucks a month, rather convenient and friggin cheap to stay in touch with friends and family. Beside, JT found me because my skype is linked to the website here, not the opposite way.

Apparently I'm the really gay one.
