Default Lebedev looking mediocre in sparring with Braithwaite

Tszyu must be watching this cringing!

It looks like Braithwaite is the champ and Lebedev is the imported sparring!

That's pretty crappy. Is that recent footage?

Toney should have a field day with Lebedev. The openings are everywhere and you can't see Toney not making him look foolish.

I can 100% see that happening, but at the same time, Toney may be passed it. It'll be interesting and I'm looking forward to it.

Yeah, Toney's age is my only worry and that is lurking in the back of my mind. Still, I can't wait. If Toney has the stamina and can pull the trigger on those openings though, it could make those bookies look very silly.

Is Lebedev a massive favorite? I need to check the odds. I see this fight going the distance I think either way. I wonder if there are prop bets on it.

It seems that Toney is 6-1 to win this. Since when has Toney ever been 6-1 to win a fight? Those odds are so extreme and I just cannot fathom it.

Before hearing that I always considered it a kind of pick 'em, but the odd suggest the complete opposite. It is strange.

Here's the thing. Toney hasn't looked great as of late and Lebedev gave Huck all he could handle. It all comes down to which Toney shows up and whether he can neutralize Lebedev's left hand.

12/1 Toney KO, 14/1 Toney PTS, 6/1 TONEY any which way. I had me some Toney at 13/2 earlier in the week. I really hope he pulls it off. If pushed I say Lebedev to outwork Toney and get a decision. I think Toney will land the better shots and never be hurt but just not throw enough.

Lebedev to win on PTS is the outcome that punters have generally been backing fwiw.

I wouldnt draw any conclusion for a spar though, we dont know what theyre working on here.

I thought it might have purposfully looked shite to make Toney over confident until I saw Lebedev stumble back from a right hand and Braithwaite was taking it easy too! There is a bit where he touches gloves, or his glove to Tszyus hand!

Im same as everyone else here. It depends on whether Toney has the legs anymore, if he does its all his!

Damn I had no idea Braithwaite could box like that !

All I've ever seen him do is gun for the KO for the couple times I've watched him fight.

"Big Truck" is about the dumbest nickname ever, but I'm impressed at how he was toying with Lebedev and rocked him a bit even.
"You knocked him down...now how bout you try knockin me down ?"

    Not a bad take.

Lebedev is a borderline B level fighter.. maybe even a C.. He's horrible.

Toney is an A legend, but 43.

It's a lot of former estimation and wishful thinking in this one.

    Hopefully Toney kills him.

Im surprised that so many people have picked Lebedev. I thought it would pretty obvious that if Toney came in shape he would p**s it. Technically he is in a different league.

Remember how many people picked Badi Ajamu to beat Roy Jones ?

And how many people thought Yuri Foreman was going to beat Cotto ?

    A LOT.

It was depressing and startling that boxing fans could believe that crap.

This match with Toney its more reasonable to pick Lebedev, but still he should by no means be a big favorite.
